Hello it just a shimming under the field. System allow to put heavy trays with metal to the magnet with magnetic field. Not need to ramp down the magnet
the time you take to assemble the whole thing and the risk that one pocket opens and you end up removing the gradient coil to remove the plates that slipped between the gc and the ovc... not worth it. why not doing it the right and safe way and ramp the magnet down?!...
Is this the passive shim? Or is this the shim you have to calibrate every PM?
Passive shim. Need to do on start up or when image is not good
