I was dying when I saw Thrace and Julii team up. They fought, stared each other down for 30 minutes, and then formed an alliance. Kenshi was surrounded by two players who were too cowardly to engage him for over half an hour. Disgusted, he left the game. I'm pretty sure AI controlled Egypt could've beaten those two all by itself, lol. A real comedy of errors.
Worse yet is how the host started all this by locking the game to 5 players...but there was no reason for it. He had no plans to team up against anyone, no plans to abuse the odd number of players to his advantage. It was just weird. Weirder still, he was the best sport out of all your opponents!
I get it this was 4 years ago, but seeing all of that Roman cav melt in like 4 seconds was just beautiful
Wasn't the Egyptian players fault tho, he was trapped between both of them, couldn't chase down Rome and couldn't go after Thrace because the Romans would attack him from behind. Really it was the Roman player horse spamming that made that a shitty battle. What more can you expect from an uneven FFA.
Thrace and Rome were playing as a team. Wasn't really Egypt's fault.

You can speed through in five minute intervals and be amazed at all the armies standing still every time

This one was indeed pretty satisfying. And the game enveloped just as you predicted from the start. I enjoyed how you clinically dismantled the noob box and lured Juli in order to fix and destroy him.

You're arrogance towards your opponent in the chat is actual reminiscent of the Macedonian himself. It should be annoying, but the effect is actually kind of grand.
You had some patience at first, identified the threats, positioned well, and didn't send in or lose men unnecessarily. Very clean play let you mop up these jokers. Their whining, camping, pathetic attempts to team up - they deserved it.
I have never played this game. Even I wouldn't be this bad... THESE PLAYERS KNOW NOTHING OF WAR!!!!

man the guy who played Thrace reminds me of some kids I went to middle school with. He attacks Egypt, clumsily, when he sees that Rome is on the other side, then , after Egypt defends from both of them and Thrace loses half his army, he's like "fck off plz, I'm innocent, why ure shooting me" ;) then, after you destroy Greece it's like "hey let's team up" first he wants to team up with you, but then he immediately teams up against you, and when Egypt leaves he calls him a pussy. Tough guy. Man this game can be like international relations kindergarden

I watch POM's videos because they're oddly satisfying. Winning in this video never felt so good.
gosh it's a pity that almost all of your battles have to be kinda ruined by assholes, while I think you would just fight honest good players

I actually had to rewind the video to make sure it was FFA and not Scored, this host wasn't thinking too far ahead was he.
He should've realized when PoM closed in he couldn't win. Then again maybe he didn't know how to tell upgrades on units.

They were absolutely trash, except for Egypt. He was an ok player even if he lagged.
I don't think he was good either. The other 2 players were just so awful. The Roman player should've beaten his army in like 20 seconds, but he was so incompetent that he kept running away
The roman player could easily kill Thrace and Egypt, but as he was teaming up with Thrace, he prefers to do nothing the entire match

I can't believe how many bad Rome players there are, considering how old the game is and everything. You'd think there'd be only veterans by now.
This battle was even more annoying to watch than the Clarkster FFA. The only thing I enjoyed was when you kicked their sorry asses.

Last man standing when there are more than two players is asking campers and people who do nothing. This is compounded when there are an odd number of players.
i feel like i played with moustache before....we were on a team vs seluecid and carthage. i thought he was dealing with carthage only to find their elephant ramming me from behind while he hid in a corner. was doing okay against seleucids till then too. shoulda watched my little corner map but eh well.

i mean ok its light cav and all charging heavy inf but they still cav and the inf facing wrong way how can even 1 horse die to this^^
its unrealistic as fck, that is 1 point i like more about on Rome 2 the cav charge is working at least
