Hello everyone! I hope you enjoyed listening to this cinematic version of Port Ormos’ theme. Some of you probably don’t know this yet but I work as a film composer and I did compose soundtracks for game as well (these are my commissions). Recently, I did a commission for a film series and knowing how film soundtracks sound, they tend to be very cinematic. So, I want to share to you all some of my experiences and soft skills from film scoring to a Genshin Impact soundtrack!
Based on my experiences as a film composer, I used a lot of pads and sound textures when I score for a film (which can be heard in this theme), it was very hard at first but as time goes by I start to get the hang of it. I grew up listening to a lot of game/anime soundtracks and some film soundtracks as well, so I decided to strengthen my composition skills, but I never really tested my skills on making sound textures and ambience until I started doing film soundtracks. It was a valuable experience and now I really enjoy making atmospheric soundtracks (sometimes in my free time).
So overall, my approach for this theme is quite different in compared to my previous ones. I will still do epic orchestral versions as that was my first objective when I started this channel, but as time goes by I think it would be fun to do other versions other than epic versions (such as my Collei theme which was Electro Swing and now Port Ormos). I hope you enjoyed listening to my version of Port Ormos’ theme and I do hope as well my experiences as a composer so far can be of help somehow to anyone who are aiming to become a composer (I haven’t consider myself as a professional composer since this year would be my 2nd year being in the industry as a composer, so everyday I’m still learning and trying to improve my production quality). Anyways, I hope you enjoyed listening and I wish you all a very good day! Thank you!

@@goldenwater2916 TH-cam somehow didn't give me notifications on your reply I apologise! Anyways, I learnt a lot from being a film composer and incorporating several elements of it to a Genshin track was so much fun and very very interesting. I hope you enjoyed this "refreshing" cover since I've never done this before haha

Port Ormos Theme was truly something that caught me off guard when I first heard it in game. I sat there in awe as that very theme was playing through and I was literally silent, thinking about how bloody good it is.
I absolutely love the way you re-created it. I don't know how to truly describe it but I know in my mind that you have done a fantastic job recreating it. This cinematic version made me feel a lot of good emotions. It has this grand space to it and it truly sounds like a score to me. It felt like I was just imagining the spectacle of Port Ormos itself. Bravo dude. It was wonderful

This one turned out so beautifully, I love it! I have no words to describe it other than "beautiful" - it fits the "cinematic" vibe very much and it makes me feel like I'm just entering Sumeru by arriving at Port Ormos, sailing through it and seeing the people commiting to their day-to-day lives as I slowly swim by, upwards the stream of the river not being able to stay at the port, yet hoping to visit it in the future.
    Again, great job on this!
