Shout out to Raz for being so open and brave, standing up for every black man who has been put into this situation. I hope this helps other men to stand up and put these monsters where they belong. God bless him.

The lack of empathy regarding black boys/men being sexually violated usually (in my experience) comes from other black men ESPECIALLY if the violator was a black female. Black men tend to see that as a badge of honor that they had a sexual experience at a young age with a seemingly “hot” black woman.

It's very sad everyone should just be against abuse boy/girl and woman/ man. Abuse is real and it needs to come out and it sucks. Some women think it's more with girls and don't matter as much. May I add that years ago chris brown admitted to " loosing his virginity" at age 8 to his 16 year old baby sitter. That is NOT ok and I agree with you. Like let's stop saying this shit is exceptable and holding a double standard when it is a man/boy. This is SA and this is why so many men stay quiet about being molested.

Great interview, Ms. Madison. I love how you allowed Raz to speak his truth. You didn't interrupt him, nor unfairly judge him, or script fed him in by projecting/coaching your own personal thoughts on his situation. A lot of these media journalists and youtube commentator channels tend to do that to their guest, in order to sensationalize their content. Raz has always been very articulate and well educated. I hope to see his documentary soon. I was a long time fan of B2k and Marques Houston. I was just saddened to hear that there was predatory abuse and molestation done against them, in the past. The other members refuse to share their experiences, while working in the industry. But, hopefully when they see Raz finally sharing his traumatic story, then they'll gain the courage to share their's...as well.
Btw, his business plan sounds really great! Bless him, thru the Higher Power.✌👍👍😊😊😊

I was molested by a couple of uncles and several cousins. When I got older, I found out the same thing happened to one of my siblings. She didn’t really want to talk about it. She said that she has moved on from that and left it in the past. I think she wasn’t as comfortable as I was or as ready as I was to really talk about it and deal with the emotions that came from it because unlike me, she saw these people on the regular. I refuse. They’re still the same people. I don’t need no damn relationship with them. I forgave them as much as I needed to to let go of hate in my heart and to have the courage to even go on living. The same things happened to them when they were young, she informed me. I confronted one uncle and he completely denied it as if we weren’t both there. 🤦‍♂️ and another uncle while not admitting to it, wanted me to know that I could call him if I needed him. My dumbass actually tried to call him for help and of course he wasn’t there. Anyway, forgiveness is needed not because they deserve it. But because without it, it can impact the “survivor” in very terrible ways like it did me. I was addicted to drugs and numbing for years. Frankly up until recently. But now I am happier than I’ve ever been in my life! Ever! My point of this story is if this has happened to you, there is very much hope of you being able to have the life you want to have in spite of it. You can still dream and be whatever and whoever you want to be!! Period. I love you all. ✌🏽
