Something I really appreciate about Ediya's videos that I don't see many people talking about is the tones she is choosing. I like a lot of other ASMRtists but many times the colors in their videos are just too bright which is not something you want when you're trying to fall asleep. Ediya always keeps the tones on the redder side which are very relaxing to the eye and help for better sleep. So thank you for that!
There's one other channel that does that, SemideCoco (not sure of the exact name). She stood out to me for that reason. You're right that most of these people pay no attention to the tones.

Is there any way you can tell me what rain sounds you’re using as backing? It’s hard for me to find rain sounds that I like, but this one sounds like multiple textures and I really like it. It’s a big reason why I like your videos- but there are times where I don’t really want to hear voices 😅
I like MyNoise.net for ambient sounds, there are little sliders in each track so you can adjust each element of the overall soundscape. There are some lovely rain ones. 🥰

Hey, (im 16 I have a question for anyone who might want to answer) Recently I've been feeling really tired and having difficulty getting out of bed and i don't mean sleepy tired I mean brain fog being unable to read cause my brain can't comprehend the words, headaches and also just being super emotional, feeling light headed when I walk/do any physical exercise, I eat a balanced diet, however it's hard to eat super healthy when I'm recovering from a restrictive eating disorder, and experiencing extreme hunger. I get around 8 hours of sleep every night, but I'm still exhausted. I feel like this is always happens after a fight happens in my family, or my mental health isn't so good. anyone know what meditations I could do? Anything to help would be great!!!( I know what you're thinking) I should go to the doctor but I don't want my family to know plus can't afford to go lmaoooo
Aw hun this made me sad to read, I was exactly the same at 16 - 10 years ago. Just couldn’t see the point in getting out of bed. I can’t stress enough the importance of eating 3 healthy meals a day. I coasted on coffee, pastries, fast food, chocolate whilst I was busy and unhappy at school and to comfort eat. In hindsight, I’m 100% sure the sugar and energy crashes from my diet intensified the hormonal changes and depression that were already there. It takes time but work your way up to it. Start small, for example with just making sure you eat breakfast everyday for a fortnight. And know that you’re doing it for YOU and your health and mental clarity. Otherwise, I’d advise you to make time for self care, be that meditation or yoga or self massage or affirmations or writing in a diary. Just know that meditation can come in lots of forms - I find sowing seeds and weeding in the garden meditative. For some people it can be crocheting. Block out the time and attend to your practice no matter what. And when you’re able and it’s safe to go, therapy. It gets so much better, I promise :)
i’m 17 and struggling with a lot of the same things so i unfortunately can’t offer the best advice, but like the other person in the reply mentioned it could be iron! anemia definitely will make you very tired. as you mentioned, recovering from an ed can definitely hinder progress and i understand (im still struggling) and i wish you the best of luck! it also sounds like it could be general depression or depression worsened by stress in your life. maybe try to find a hobby or pastime to relax you and put into your routine to try and steer away from all the things that stress you out, even if it’s just for a tiny bit each day. also (and i know this is cliche) try and drink lots of water, it helps with my headaches and also get some food in your system if your headaches are getting bad as well. i usually feel better after a snack and then resting my eyes or avoiding screens/harsh light. i really wish you luck and i hope things improve for you!
oh also would like to add that the breakfast thing mentioned above is what i started with in healing my relationship with food. i have a big breakfast every day no matter what and i’m slowly making my way to also making sure to eat lunch every day too.
