Actually now that they're speaking to each other, you can hear slight differences in the textures in their voice. To my ears, Watame's voice sounds slightly more airy.
My brain just melted. I havent seen much comparison videos between the two voices and never really understood the similarities between the two, I feel that my brain is just used to Ui having a soft tone while Watame is a little bit more fierce, that's why I could tell the difference before. But hearing them together now with Watame trying to mimic Ui's softness turned my mind into mush.
There's only one way to know for sure if they're the same person: we must get both of them to sing a duet of Watame's version of "Balalaika". IT'S THE ONLY WAY!
