Oh man. This is brilliant. Now all I gotta do is find something I can attach it to permanently in my bathroom for my straight razor. Thanks for the idea! GENIUS!
Geko, I've only been subscribed for a week or so now brother, but I have to tell ya, you're a pretty impressive guy. LOTS of great Ideas n ya make some awesome looking knives. Glad I found your channel my friend. Keep up the Great work.
Great to see a video again! Good idea! I rewatched your sheath making video today and started on my first leather sheath, helped a lot! Nice knife, will there be a video?

Do the layers of leather spin as one with only the pressure of being held between the two washers. Another video shows the layers glued together with Titebond glue. I have reservations about the glue between the layers being part of what is honing my tools. I was thinking of contact cementing the layers within a 1/4-1/2” of the outter edge of the disc. Any input would be helpful. What you built seems to work well…maybe no glue needed…
+Diesineveryfilm Customs i never used a MDF wheel, so cant give you a advise. but i know that with a 600 grit stone and this wheel i get them shaving sharp. cheers
+ovidio calvet hi, i use the fine compound that has come with the cheap polishing set. but you can use every metal polish compound. greetings from greece.
that is not the way to strop a blade, you have no proper control to put the razer edge on your blade, use a proper strop for best results...clever idea but as a strop wheel totally useless.
Brilliant idea! Well done!!! You made it work and it was great to see the results!
Thanks for the time on your video, that leather strop works great. I have enjoyed all your vids and looking forward to your next one.

What’s better paper sharpening wheel or leather stripping one?
Awesome work I need to make one of these. Currently use a buffing wheel to strop my knifes. Do you think this works better than MDF wheel?

I might have to give that a try, I have shit ton of boxes laying around but how are you going to load the green compound without it collapsing?

Hey Geko
Bist du noch zufrieden mit dem Lederrad? Und wasfür eine Paste benützt du?
amazing😁😁
No music !
impressing
Anyone who would treat a good knife this way shouldn't be allowed to own a butter knife.
The music's not only horribly loud and annoying, but also full of aggression!
Was it really necessary to have that aweful "music" set so loud?
SHORT SWEET AND SHARP.

If you can't explain what you are doing then don't post your videos there's a time and place for music
If you can't follow without someone spoon-feeding you, then quit TH-cam and go back to using a pacifier.
HATE THE MUSIC!!!!! So I dind't watch the whole video!!
