- Step-by-step tutorial on how to crochet very easy and quick summer top. Layer this over tank top and shorts or over your swimwear for a beach cover up. Thank you for this pretty pattern. And thank you for providing us with sizing information for this top! I wish you could have this information for all your tops and dresses. Just as an FYI, for most all seams I use a mattress stitch which starts and continues from the outside in. This creates a flat seam which is wonderful. Give it a try and see how you like it!

This is a wonder, quick pattern that looks amazing. Thank you so much 😊. Three quick questions: For row 2, instead of doing a sc in the ch 7 space, could we actually go into the middle ch, or the 4th ch, and sc there?
And for row 3, can we sc into the 3rd, 4th and 5th chs instead of the ch 7 space? Would that look weird? I look forward to hearing back from you. Thanks again!
For your question on row 2, yes you can sc in the middle ch or the 4th chain. I think this would work the same. But for your question on row 3, it looks like the same question with row 2 which I think doesn't work. Row 3 would still remain the same in the pattern. Hope this helps. Thank you!

I am having a problem with the 2nd panel not matching when I get to row 5. I have counted stitches so many times and have completed the first panel. This is a beautiful cover and so want to do it. Any ideas?
You completed the first panel so that's good. The 2 panels have the same pattern so I think you're in the right track. You just have to check your second panel again. Hope this helps. Thank you!
