Ramonda serbica, also known as Serbian ramonda and Serbian phoenix flower, is a species in the family Gesneriaceae. It is one of the few European representatives of this family, found in Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, North Macedonia and Serbia. It is typically found in cool, damp, shaded environments, primarily on steep, north-facing limestone foundations. The flower was discovered by Serbian botanist Josif Pančić in 1874 near Niš.[2] It is known for its ability to be revived when watered, even when fully dehydrated, also known as a Desiccation plant.[3] In Serbia it is used as a symbol of Armistice Day in World War
It’s a serbian simbol of armistice day in WWI, but also of struggling of serbian people through history until today. The artist asks where all the ramondas have gone (because of hard times in Serbia recently). This is amazing patriotic song ❤
Amazing song Ramonda is part 2 of song Dzanum Moye More ❤ beautifull beautifull song by amazing singer composer and songwriter TEYA DORA. Thanks for very nice comment ❤🙏
The rock on which the singer is lying at the beginning of the video represents the island of Corfu in Greece, where Serbian soldiers recovered in the First World War, after retreating across Albania. We call the sea around the island of Krv the Blue Tomb, because many soldiers who died are buried there. In Serbia, the Ramonda flower is a symbol of rebirth and rising from the ashes. The people have gone through and are going through many misfortunes and sufferings, but they always hope that everything will be fine. This song is dedicated to all those who sacrificed themselves for the benefit of new generations. Salute.
@princeblworld I love them both, too. And I was lucky to listen to Konstrakta live several times. You gotta feel that energy. The most positive vibe between the fans and she throws a real show!
Ramonda is an unique type of the flower(violet colour) growing only in Serbia and it has special, strong symbol in Serbia... In latin>'Ramonda serbica'
It is twin of her song Janum. Listen to Janum, Janum is name (in tradition) for a girl who can't find love. Accent is on the lyrics. She is "lila Ramonda", flower which is dried ("world burns, every flower; where are dissapared all lila ramondas?"). She is hoping at the end ("one lila Ramonda is arising from the ashes") - hoping that she will find love.
