    Awesome to have your wife out there supporting your efforts! I like your honest, vulnerable insight into your own play.
    Keep the vlogs coming!

      PokerBabbo I've been teaching my lady how to play as well and her very first cash game she won +$167. Most came on a pair of Aces where she got max value. I think it's awesome to get family to play because they've been your support for long and nothing is better them watching then win that big pot for the first time.

      Yeah %100 that sounds amazing being able to play together. We have that as a goal as well once we have more time for her to play as well

    What is the rake like at Jamul, $6+$1 like the rest of SD places?

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s the cheapest in SD 4+1

    You should have just stared at him after the river came out and waited for him to flip. I will never flip first if I call an all in unless I have the nuts

      I’m fine showing when the opponent tells me they don’t have anything. Usually they’re saying the truth

  • @MaydayAggro
    @MaydayAggro 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    It's not a slow roll. You choose to show first. I'd just cross my arms, lean back, stare at the guy until he shows, then muck.

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I showed first because he didn’t to show. Acting that way with 2 pair is a slow roll

    • @MaydayAggro
      @MaydayAggro 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Pokerbabbo a slow roll is making an opponent show and then making him wait to see that you have the nuts or near nuts. 2 pair is not the near nuts. Just wait for the opponent to show. If he refuses, call the floor. Done. He should not get free information.

    On the first hand, it’s not really a slow roll. I think you called it a slow roll because you think he lead you to believe you won the hand. If you show first and if he would have flipped one card at a time, first the 5, and then 5 seconds later the Q, then yes, that would have been a slow roll. He didn’t do that. He simply showed his hand after you chose to show first (irrelevant whether he wanted to show or not). Basically you showed him and the whole table information on how you played that hand, which wasn’t necessary for you to do. You called his all in, so he’s supposed to show first. You should have patiently waited to see his hand, and then decided to either muck your hand or show.

      That's 100% a slow roll. You go all in, rvr 2 pair and still don't wanna turn over?

    • @johnnybravoooooooooooooooooooo
      @johnnybravoooooooooooooooooooo 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      the all in player has to show first and if he’s saying i don’t want to show it implies he doesn’t have a hand, you have no idea what you’re saying buddy

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I disagree man. If someone goes all in and doesn’t want to show(I waited a little while) he’s saying that he doesn’t have anything. So doing that action with 2 pair is a slow roll IMO

      @@Pokerbabbo the fact that the guy is sitting in the game with a $25 stack and goes all in w/ Q5 leads me to believe he is prob a new player......but yes it was a slow roll from an inexperienced player...your wife seems like a very happy and sweet person...

    • @Pokerbabbo
      @Pokerbabbo  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely normal to think that because of his stack but it’s not the case with this player. He’s there basically every day, he actually slow rolled another guy with AA the same session showing just one A before flopping over the other one
