I left Sudan and was born in America 2 months after we went there. I have visited Sudan twice, once in 2018 and once in 2022, and it is still largely a broken land. Now that the army announced it is stepping back, I hope that democracy can succeed and Sudan may prosper as it should be.

I really hope for Sudan to prosper and become free, but I have a bad feeling because it is getting closer and closer to China and Russia, from which it buys weapons to conduct war in Kordofan and Blue Nile.
Also what is happening in Darfur should be considered more.
I really hope for western countries to take attention at this issue as well, all people deserve to live free and in peace

In Sudan we have people that are African and then we have people who are also African but claim to be Arab. Some of the aforementioned Africans that identify as arab are racist because it makes them feel better knowing they're not on the lower end social-class system created by & promoted by the government. The government in Sudan was run by corrupt authoritarian military dictators that ruled us by continuing the colonial divide and conquer. Some of the Africans that identify as arab tolerate this system because they receive slight/minor benefits from the system created by the government. In reality, the Africans that identify as arab are similar to racist poor white people in America who blame non-white people for their struggles in life. The truth is that the system is problem not the other groups.

Very true. The indigenous people of Sudan were invaded and conquered by the Arabs. They have been resisting foreign invasions, xenophobia oppression, racism and enslavement for over five [5] thousand years. The Indigenous Sudanese, like all other indigenous Africans, will not achieve peace, self-determination, cultural renewal, and social and economic development until and unless they expel/remove all foreigners and their collaborators from their ancestral homeland.
The Arabs and all foreigners must be decisively pushed out of Africa.

It’s always been a war tactic divide and conquer , where all divided and all judged without any knowledge , why is it that we can’t coexist and respect each other’s beliefs , conquer what is it that we try so hard to conquer yet we can’t take with us when we leave this world and have to meet our maker , leave the land to whom it belongs to yet respect each other and live together . If I like you as a person I can’t look and not respect your beliefs . Life is to short for all this and in the end it brings suffering and loss to the families . Leave the land to the Africans it belongs to , and it’s been to . You can’t keep taking land from ppl they have suffered enough , let them live and be .

@@ginasmith5464 well the thing is that people don't care about religion, ethnicity or even race for that matter but there are many examples where the political leaders change the whole landscape of the country , they misuse and exploit the very insecurity of the mob as was the case with sudan , well Albania is a small country with a small population but what about countries like syria , yemen , israel and india for that matter all that is required is a politician hungry for power to subvert the country and it's peace well that's been the story of the whole world weather it be democracy , dictatorship or any other form of government everything is done for power by these politicians at the cost of peoples lives , peace and harmony .

I don't know how i come across this documentary, but as a Nigerian 🇳🇬 precisely from southern Nigeria 🇳🇬 am so scared Nigeria don't get to this point. because i can't see anything different from Sudan of then and Nigeria of Now. The northern Nigeria dominated Muslim doing the most right now in 2023. Kano government demolishing structure because it has a cross sigh, southern Kaduna being murdered every minute because they are Christian and a so called leader in north NASIR EL RUFAI making religious hateful speach. Today we have two Muslim Muslim as president and vice president. In a country that is 50/50 Muslim and Christian. How can two Muslim represent us. I just hope they don't make careless laws because it may not end well. Nigerians 🇳🇬 in the comments section whether from the north or south i hope we all stop now before it becomes too late. I am making this comment in June/18/2023. GOD BLESS NIGERIA 🇳🇬🇳🇬❤🙏 AND AFRICA

We are as we were even before religions existed way back as far as history can recall. Nature imparted us with appetite for violence, etc. Religions came to try to cure us, but as I have said, we are as we were. Do not blame religion for your ill-fated situations.
