I literally built this deck over the weekend, not knowing they were going to kill it on Monday. TY Blizzard
watched this video and finally thought i would like a deck in hearthstone again, made it from 6600 dust just for it to be nerfed the next day PepeHands all my dust is now gone
I think Blizz needs to add a "silence/steal weapon" card or two. There are a lot of deathrattle weapons with no way to counter them.
Aggro decks counter kingsbane pretty good. Besides, there are a lot of game that Kingsbane can't find the leeching poison in first 15 draws and die.
Kingsbane is gonna be vaulted soon anyway
Oozes are here and they are pretty affective
Oozes are here. I'm talking about a card that removes (silences) the deathrattle affect and buffs of a weapon as you can do with a minion.
Jayson Davidson well that will be too overpowered and will kill this deck. Blizzard dont kill decks they nerf them in the way that they are still playable but not as good as before the nerf.
Try this in EU, where the only 4 decks people play are kingsbane, baku paladin, secret hunter and shudderwock shaman.

Start of this expansion, ranks 19 to 17 was only spellhunter for me, trying to escpape that dark place as quickly as possible

I think the mage was so focused on “Hey if my water elemental stays up for one turn he won’t be able to attack anymore!” Instead of just trying to heal.

Kingsbane is disgustingly overpowered. How long must we wait for a proper nerf? I can't even play a fair ranked game without having an 18 attack/lifesteal/poison/infinite blade of doom one hit me 30 games in a row. R.I.P Hearthstone
Just do what I do.. concede on turn 1 and play someone else.
Or just Play Aggro,ITS Just a Combo Deck. Dies to Zoo,dies to Face hunter(except You get insane Mulligans) and is killed by some other Combo Decks some Times too(Mechathun priest and Druid Combos both have a 40%/60% winrate at each other). Also,There is frostlich Jaina.
@@leobastian_ Absolutely true. I've been able to outright kill Kingsbane rogue almost every time with Zoolock. Makes me feel good but dirty at the same time. The only nightmare deck now is spell Hunter but who cares because it's most likely gonna get nerfed one way or another
I don't think we will see any nerfs until Rotation to non witchwood+boom+rastakan cards. When Wandering and rhokdelar Rotates Out, spell Hunter ist dead. Also,with Out Rexxar Most Hunter Decks will have a very poor winrate against Baku Warrior.

I actually really like that it got so popular on standard right now, because when it was overpowered in wild only, blizzard didn't seem tp give a fuck. Now it gets so popular on standard, I hope it receives some nerfs in not so far future

jim Kingsbane needs to be more expensive. I'm not asking for it to be 7 mana. It's just stupid that you can immediately start using your win condition card on turn 1. Then again, Baku is a win condition and happens pre-turn 1!

kingsbane rogue remind me of solo/smash vaath in duelyst the only thing that change is that rogue u need a weapon but for vaath its his hero, power that give him attack and let u stack it
Fortunately for me, I play malygos druid with combo that can deal 30+damage in one turn, so at least some chance against kingsbane rogue

Yeah, Rag now being an Elemental WELL AFTER he was Hall of Fame'd and then reintroducing him in a much later set is confusing as hell.
Also, this is coming from the dev team who said nerfing Fiery War Axe to 3 Mana and changing nothing else was the best option because "you always see a card's Mana cost in hand, so it's less confusing"... Just wanna point that out

Hey ya Disguised Toast, what do you think about the nerf of the patch? Lifestal only for the turn when you play the Lifesteal card. I think it's not enough, still too strong. The point is you can draw this 6-8 attack damage knife too much easily and with 3 points of integrity. And you can even launch the weapon destroy with 8 damage and get a new life knife in your hand to equip. And you can Vanish enemy minions 2 times. I honestly think this weapon needs more nerf and it should be a 1/1
I personally do not like Dread Corsair in this deck. I cut 1 sap and 2 corsairs for 1 Southsea Deckhand and 2 Walk the Plank. I have been having a lot of success with that. You could probably keep 2 sap and only add 1 Walk the Plank, but basically I do not like Dread Corsair that much in this deck.
Hawt Pire I never saw the point in running both sap and vanish, 2 vanish was enough and provided room for dread and south sea and walk the plank. Dread Corsair helps as a combo starter and for early game against stupid stuff like odd pali

I've played enough Odd Mage vs Kingsbane to know Ragnaros wouldn't have done shit in this game. Any turn you don't spend on creating a water elemental is a lost turn. The 8 life of Ragnaros were not as good as gaining a water elemental, that ended up saving him a total of 9 life.
Is this deck badly affected by the rotation later? What set is kimgsbsne in? Thx
What do you mean with 'if he knew how to play ragnaros'? Only thing I can think of is the lifesteal, but that would require him to be silenced...
lifesteal procs not only when an elemental attacks, but everytime it deals damage, so rag's ability procs lifesteal

This deck is no longer a thing... after today they absolutely wrecked this deck because they removed the leeching poison from a perma lifesteal and now it’s only for 1 turn

I'm running a taunt druid, so It's honestly fairly equal, though I'd say I got an advantage there.

How do you perform against Odd paladin? These both decks are over 75% of my opponents and I didn't figured a counter out yet.
@@Definitely_Melnyx Sadly that's difficult to say since i'm barely facing any.
It's just a bunch of kingsbane rogues with some tempo rogues, and a face hunter here or there.
If I could survive for a bit early on I imagine I would completely shut down paladin entirely, but it's all dependant on how quickly they can gain tempo before I reach mana for the beefier taunts.

What? No. Kingsbane rogue has been a popular deck ever since the expansion started.
RaGiAn87 I agree it has been. But the trend at rank 15-11 is that you will usually see streamers/youtubers deck lists appear, identical down to the tech cards. I watch toast, kibler, and firebats’ vids cus those guys are usually copied the most. You could toss it up to just good deck building but ive seen the decks change with the videos enough that it it’s probably them following the trend.
This deck is one of the cheaper ones with only 3 legendaries and one is optional

Landon Petty having that extra durability with an additional attack can be huge, you don’t need to waste time drawing it again
+LemonyPanda I obviously agree fully Cpt Greenskin WILL make the beck better but as I said it really doesnt matter much i have 30k dust and still dont feel the need to craft him.
+LemonyPanda Im basically saying that imo the deck is TOO MUCH period. I personally like control decks more and only ran this deck for like a night two days ago because i have all the cards EXCEPT cpt and it still had a ridiculous win rate.

@@matt5842 Try to run it before opening the game. Try also to mess around with the settings. It's supposed to show your deck and track what your opponent has played + showing you secrets and c'thun or jade count in case you're a wild player.

Oscar Ricky this deck died because they changed the lifesteal card to only give your weapon life steal for one turn, not permanently, which is why people use the pseudo kingsbane that is spectral cutlass and espionage
