Recently tried out aoe3 bcs of the free edition on steam, never played rts before, quickly became addicted. Still trying to figure most of the stuff out, but you and Lion Heart have been a really big help, appreciate you, man.

I'm a bit over 30 & did R.T.S.s as a kid mostly until 2010/11 with Dota 2 and just getting lost (not caring about S.C. II any longer). Started AoE II back in March & picked that up quite quickly - if you like reading the Wikia & the many guides are great to skim through or peruse/parse through fully. Then AoE IV about a month back - it... doesn't feel right for me. Then AoE III I played at the start & during the Warchiefs & then the Asian Dynasties... Back into this game & even though it doesn't get the same amount of new content with D.L.C.s & balance changes... it still has so much to work through.
I suspect it's all probably going to be nice to get this cheap during the holidays so keep an eye out - they might even have the full Age of Empires Bundles available, although I know Age of Mythology Rework is coming probably next year if you just want to focus on one game at a time!
