Konnichiwa!! The Football Ronin is finally back with a whole new series! I have been eagerly waiting for my return to the land of the rising sun, Japan! It only makes sense for the ronin to return and quite honestly I have had my eye on the J1 league for quite some time now so to finally start is truly remarkable! Japan of course is full of culture, but the football culture itself has been on the rise for quite some time now and I've been wanting to show everyone just how progressive it has become! And even though not too much sunshine on the first day, I had an amazing time exploring the 2nd largest city in Japan, Yokohama! Nissan Stadium was the 1st stop on the tour and I caught the derby between hosts, Yokohama Football Marinos (I know I kept calling them Mariners..), and Yokohama Football Club! It turned out to be a 1 sided affair, but what a special stadium, club, and experience I had! Did I forget to mention, goals galore in this one! ⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️⚽️
