Been looking at something like this but what happens to the regular garage door openers that are RF. I'm looking for something that does away with the wireless remotes totally and just uses my smart phone. Is this the Item, have older Genie with "tombstone" remotes Bryan
Mine is setup amd all lights are in the right status. When I hit the open or close tab, my garage lights come on and it’s beeps but nothing works. I can’t believe that it’s a 2 hour hold fir gente connect
Why didn't you just use the existing wires for the old switch and install the hub where the old switch was. Now you don't have a switch to open the garage door without your phone.
Why didn't you just install the new hub where the old button controller was. You could use the existing wires and use the hub buttons to open the garage door. Now you have to use the phone app to open the door because you need a ladder to reach the button on the hub.
Does it compatible with 5G Wifi ?

If i got the model 3055 and it say wifi on box, do i still need this? Im sure i do because my box say wifi enabled but i dont think its wifi.

You can still use the button on the wall. This unit does not disable that.

This product is terrible. Just buy an opener with integrated wifi. Chamberlain is a good one.
