This was excellent... Yes codependency is not love... Healing and sustaining yourself as an individual is paramount to love. Love for self is so powerful and freeing. I'm a school based mental health therapist, mom with 4 grandqueens and I believe in healing our inner child so we can break all types of generational curses... Pain makes us forget who we really are.
This was a phenomenal interview, I fell in love with Jess during Couples Retreat because the beauty and purity of her heart got the chance to shine. What really stuck out to me is how intimately Jay knows God and is in relation with him and it’s evident in how he maneuvered the interview
After hearing first part of this Jess I got more respect for Jess she’s definitely got lot more mature the older she’s gotten

I’m going to be honest here, somehow, this is the very first time I’ve stopped by this channel but I watched the whole thing. I had to break it up a few different times because it’s long but it definitely held my attention and left me with a few different things to think about. I always Jess and that’s how I got here but the engagement on both sides was great. Also, the host did his hosting business, IMO! I’ll be back for more of his content.

I’m 20 right now I am engaged and I am living with my fiancé and his best friend and their apartment and I myself within these past couple of months have realized that I Gotta do stuff for myself that I can’t rely on nobody I can’t even rely on my man because if something happens to him where he die or something like that I have to be able to take care of myself especially if I were to have kids I would still need to be able to provide and take care of all of their needs without my man but I really feel Jess when she says that people will hold stuff over your head because I literally sold my car to help both of them move to another state and we get to the new state and they want to just start holding stuff over my head especially when we got the apartment every time something comes up it’s always we pay the bills we do this we do that but if I aluminate depending on them and taking care of me then I won’t have that problem and I won’t have to hear that and with that being said I just got a new job at a hospital paying 20 an hour and I plan on going there every day on time even extra I’m gonna be working OT it’s a full-time job I’m just gonna pour everything I have into to work and it’s just so crazy to hear another woman with this perspective because if you listen to these red pill people they tell you that just isn’t the type of woman that you want to settle down with and when I hear her speak as a woman I think wow I would want to be with someone like her because she wants to take care of herself she wants to get up and do the work she don’t want you to do it for her there’s a lot of women who just want to sit on their ass and want people to take care of them when they’re grown ass adults and I really used to be that I was homeless from 14 to 19 and I started working when I was 14 I was working full-time and when I became an adult I decided that I was tired I was tired of fucking working I was tired of these week ass checks I was like OK cool I have a man been with him for like eight years we gonna move in with each other everything‘s gonna be cool but we became broke very fast he’s always spending every last dime he has on bills and on me and I’m tired of watching this man come about the money for me I’m tired of seeing this man suffer because of me and if I don’t get up and do the work man no one else will
