EDIT: 4/26/22 coming back to say that on this date the psychologist diagnosed Amber with borderline personality disorder and histrionic personality disorder.
Amber seems to fit a lot of the criteria for someone with borderline personality disorder.

People stay in relationships that are toxic because they become trauma bonded. It is a chemical process in the brain. An addiction. It is like stock holm syndrome if you will. It is hard for a victim to describe for people to understand because it is just in the last few years that true awareness has been being brought to the attention to people around the world including our court rooms and many other areas where interpersonal relationships are.

They are alike in that because as a victim a couple times, I'm ashamed to admit but every relationship I've ever had has been abusive n cheaters. But... They name call n demean you and break you down so they can make u believe you are the problem not them and they are a martyr for even being with you because you are so unworthy you could never do better than them.

I have always been told I was with men who were just like my father n not growing up with my father past age 7 I just assumed my mother was right. What you said just hit me so hard because its my mother . my mother n I have just in this past year began to mend our relationship. I left home literally at 8 for the first time because I couldn't live with her. Wow what a mind explosion of oh my God's from revelation. And I stopped even dating still do not. What a terrible effing person she is. I was married to a narcissist and he told me I was a bad parent and forced me to apologize to my son. This person didn’t even have kids and my son was upset bc he knew I was being pressured to say that and he didn’t think I was a bad mom. It’s to try and break you down so they can have control. After divorce and a year of therapy I’ve finally started to recover.

JD's father bailed out on his family because he couldn't handle the mental and physical abuse his wife was dishing out to JD and the rest of his siblings. JD bailed out on Heard because it was like living with his mother all over again.

As an empath its like we draw toxic narcissist We stay cuz we think if we show love & understanding as why they're as they are we're capable to help & fix. Was married to a narcissist. I know about 3 women like this 1 who was especially abusive to her husband & hid it very well & was great at deflection. Took about a decade & half to come out, years were nobody believed him, it was heart wrenching. She needs conflict like air. Narcissists are a species all their own. They're always a victim or the grand hero There's no in between. It's maddening for their partners cuz they end up thinking they're the crazy ones. Never under estimate that a woman is just as capable of driving the crazy train. I've both seen it & I've known it personally . I think she opened a can of worms & it blew! She knew what she was doing & not mentioning by name she'd get away with it. I pray he clears his name being that's ALL he wants. This isn't about financial or revenge. It's about his kids, family & his dignity. My prayers. Only Winner is the Truth!!!

That was my thought also.... but other posters have said in past interviews that his manner of speech is consistent with what he presents here.
It’s just how he talks but I do believe they give him a slight concession to elaborate perhaps more so than they may have allowed others. But it’s also a defamation trial too, so I mean this is basically about how this whole thing has affected him and he maybe he deserves full room and patience to fully express himself. I think he deserves at least that.
