Heya Dave. I'm a bit jealous of you guys down under! Mega nugget country and all kinds of treasures you have, though much of the fossicking zones are dry and in very harsh areas. Some people get lucky on occasion, but to consistently find gold, you've gotta really want it! Good luck down there my friend, and keep cool!

Just wondering because quite a few people have died from bad air, exploring old workings. That is 1 thing that scares me for going very deep, as I don't have a canary. Would a candle or lighter work?
Thanks Jeff, much appreciated! You know, I joke about the canary as well sometimes. A few things that I look for are air movement and the presence of mammals that require oxygen to survive. Rat droppings, bats, animal scat etc. Candle could work but could also potentially ignite gasses. Water is also bad as it can release more nasty stuff into the air.

Would you take the high grade ore to get leached? Or maybe just prove it’s volume and option/sell? Thanks
Hello Bjarne. That is a tough question. It all depends on how much work you are willing to do. If the access is good and you can get some ore out, I would find a processor or figure out how to upgrade your ore. Run some bulk multi ton samples to see what you are really getting. You might decide to tackle it yourself, or with the data collected you could look into selling or leasing your mine.
