Fun Fact: Baryonyx was meant to be the main antagonist for Jurassic Park 3 and there's even a JP3 poster for it, but they switched to Spinosaurus, because they thought Baryonyx wasn't intimidating enough. 😅

There's a reson paleontoligists have thought in the past that Sucho was the adult of Bary, as the only Bary we have is a subadult with Sucho being slithly larger and having that weird hump-thing
There's a video out there which replaces the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Baryonyx with a scientifically accurate model and shows the two versions side-by-side. It's pretty awesome. Frankly, I hated what they did with the animal in that movie (no animal will be hunting with lava surrounding it, and definitely the lava that landed on it should have killed it instantly) but I was happy to see one of my favourite dinosaurs added to the series, even if they didn't name it. It was also cool how it's roar was similar to the Spino of JP3, hinting at their relation.
In the Lost World Jurassic Park PS1 game, Baryonyx is the primary threat in the first human level. It's depicted in a grey coloring and it makes gurgling/clicking sounds. It's also depicted as cave dwellers that lives in packs and hunts for fish in the dark cave's waters. They're also very territorial.

Baryonyx also appears in the Capcom video game Exoprimal, with a very spiky design. There’s a lot of dinosaurs in that game that you’ve also made many interpretation videos on already, such as Carnotaurus, Ankylosaurus and ofc T. Rex, as well as monstrouse mutated forms of some of them

Battle of giants: Dinosaur Strike was a game from childhood, that one had Baryonyx in it. It was a fighting game, and i don't remember much, but it was fun
From what I've seen of "Dinosaur Britain" and "The Isle," their respective takes on Baryonyx succeeded in capturing that unique look for the dinosaur. I also thought Rudy from "Ice Age 3" had an awesome design and interesting rivalry with Buck. However, I'm also not fond of the "Jurassic World" Baryonyx. It looks too monstrous with the mangled teeth and it looks more like a standard theropod with a somewhat stretched-out head. That said, I liked how "Camp Cretaceous" handled this version of the dinosaur, both for being threatening antagonists and having an amusing family dynamic. Also, that "Primal Ops" update actually looks pretty decent, since the head is more accurate and kind of resembles the JP3 Spinosaurus.
I find that one of the craziest things about baryonyx is that it’s actually still under debate on whether or not the fossils we have a baryonyx; especially the holotype; might not be a fully mature animal!
I think it would be cool if you include the designs of tiny dino world on your videos, it was a nice app game with some very interesting designs, anyway great video

There are two physical Lego baryonyx figures in set 75935, Baryonyx Face off: the treasure hunt, and 76942, Baryonyx boat escape, they have two different colorations, but I dont know how different the molds are, I think they are different than the Lego game.

I've heard that Mosasaurus is getting a lot of attention lately in some dinosaur documentaries like Dinosaur Revolution, DinoWorld, Sea Monsters: a Prehistoric Adventure, March of the Dinosaurs and Prehistoric Planet, but also in movies like Jurassic World and Aquaman, as well as some games like Hungry Shark Evolution/World, Jurassic Park Builder, Jurassic World: The Game, Jurassic World Evolution 2, Saurian, Beasts of Bermuda and Path of Titans. 🦖🦕🐉🦈🦭🐬🐋
Spinosaurids had the nostril way further up on the skull. They had their jaws dipped in the water for fishing and they moved it up towards the eyes so they wouldn't drown while waiting for prey to swim by.

Yes the idea was brought to the table. However, it was heavily disputed, with many believing that the teeth were too weak to snatch that struggling prey. It wasn’t until the stomach contents were found that it was more agreed upon. The time in which it was accepted is mainly what I’m referring to.

For: spent a lot of time with head out of water teeth dry= teeth break= starvation= baryonyx die 💀 Against: lips may get in way while trying to catch fish and instead of being bitten with mouth knives, fish gets bitten with its lizard lips. I myself think a river dolphin lip situation to be going on here, the lips would only go halfway then the fangs jut out of its horrifically elongated maw. You forgot the Baryonyx in The Lost World Jurassic Park on PS1. Also I want some elaboration on why you get flack for not liking the Fallen Kingdom design. I don't understand that. I've never seen anyone like that design, it's horrendous. I was so excited to hear we were finally getting Baryonyx on the silver screen as it's my favorite Spinosaurid and one of my all time favorite dinosaurs. Then I saw it in the trailer and was immediately pissed. That's not Baryonyx, that's Dinocroc. Or Supergator, whichever of those movies you like better I guess. I will be forever enraged that we got Dinocroc instead of Baryonyx. This atrocity shall never be forgiven.
I do not know why would you catch flack for stating the truth. The JW Baryonyx is very much a letdown compared to most iterations of the same design. Especially when there was another one prior that was more colorful and less generic. Given the color scheme of the Film Bary and the JWD Giga. You could be forgiven for mistaking them as ontogenetic stages of each other.
I won't give you flak for hating the JW Baryonyx design. I think it's neat, but personally I just had gotten so sick and tired of it and Sinoceratops being the butt of the worst Jurassic designs ever "jokes"

i don't blame you for not liking the JW bary design. ya know i'm suprised people would defend it. the Thing looks awful. and i can't tell one of it's traits where is the larger claw? and It looks like an american Alligator with Longer legs and a longer neck. and the color scheme just feels bland compared to the older JW design

Came here for this honestly, even though it is far from the most accurate design it's still by-and-far my favorite media version of Baryonyx.
