How do you know where the room is and if it's in a undesirable location can we withdraw the offer ? I don't want to change and the room is in a noisy/busy area.
@@stevethomas760 Hi Steve, MSC choose the cabin / location from the unbooked inventory and once your upgrade is confirmed you are allocated that new cabin and the number shows in your online account within 48 hrs. Your original one is given to someone else. You cannot change your mind and withdraw your offer, even if it’s unacceptable, so it’s a risk that you may get an undesirable cabin at the higher category. Upgrades don’t work for everyone, especially if you have certain cabin or location requirements, more than 2 in a cabin or travelling in a larger group all located together. We’ve had a few upgrades so far and touch wood, all have worked out but it’s something important to consider before bidding.
