Does it rev up? If so, I would say you have a clutch issue. If it doesnt rev up I would say a carb issue. Let me know what you find. Thanks for watching and the comment. Let us know if you need anything: www.ebay.com/str/midnebraskamotorsports
I just changed my oil in a 450 Grizzly. I took it out for a 1/4 mile ride. I then realized I used auto synthetic. What should I do now? Can I just change the oil with Yamalube, or do I need to flush it.
Ok I've got a bruin 350 and it doesn't want to go over 20 and you can smell the belt burning. It winding out at 20 it seems idk if it's the belt or if it one of the 3 clutches that's bad and if so what clutch what it be?
The old Craftsman 19.2volt upgraded to lithium battery. .5" drill chuck, .5" impact plus circular saw's, sawzall, flashlight etc can find them dirt cheap now days ( sometimes $50+/- for complete sets!) and the power of the tools is still on par with the modern big brands ime. Love mine still kicking well after I got them 2nd hand several years ago. My 2 cent's as a tool savy conservative. My 04 Kodiak 450 4x still going strong, (wish it was 05 irs believe me Ikr🤔) Saw Yamaha and had to stop by for a peek. Thanks for sharing 🇺🇸👍.
I found some sand like material in the bottom of my 18 450. I was told it could be wet clutch material. It was just a bit in the bottom of the large oil drain plug. I ran it three hours after then dropped the oil again found nothing.... Could this be? They looked like quite large grains and when rubbed between fingers started to crumble. Someone else said bearing material but it's non metallic
It could certainly be clutch shoe material. It may have been abused for a short time or not serviced soon enough and oil broke down. If you are riding it and not seeing anything new. I bet you are good. I wouldn’t say bearings probably. Keep me posted. I have oil coming out of my clutch housing after replacing clutch, it sat for 2 yrs prior to me fixing it, internet searching says that this is common problem and that it is an oil seal needs to be replaced but I don't know where the oil seal is. From trying to search it on the internet, it seems to be 2 but I could be mistaken.... can someone please help me?
@@dirtybird6704 you’ll have to replace the fat seal on it, other wise take it out with a screw driver, there’s a snap ring clip behind it that you’ll have to take out with the special pliers and after you take it out behind the front of the seal it’ll just pop out

My Kodiak won’t go above 10mph while at full throttle what could be causing it to not go above it

@@MidNebraskaMotorsportslink to video to separate bell housing? threads for nut on end of shaft on mine are stripped
Only thing I dislike about the 450's is the lack of low gear. Useful for plowing snow and pulling work trailer.
