Ron you were talking about wooden caskets and deteriorating quickly. My ex-wife is a Greek citizen and she told me about funerals in Greece and how different they are from here. She said that when you die the bury you in a casket but there is no bottom in it just slats so you don’t fall out. They also do not use makeup or embalming. If you are killed say in an auto accident and your body is damaged they don’t fix it up. They fill the casket with flowers to the point that only your face is visible. I know this to be true because she would get Greek newspapers and there would be pictures in the paper of deceased’s people. Just thought you might like to hear some info on other funeral rights practiced in other country’s.
@@estellegabriel505 I’ve seen the flower thing in the Greek newspapers my ex read . Keep in mind that my ex is 75 years old and maybe they did that at some point in her life. My ex was extremely religious so I don’t think she would ever lie. It was me who ruined the marriage, biggest mistake of my life. I also saw a special that some years ago in Greece after a period of time they would dig the person up and drink wine out of there loved ones skull. That’s sickening to me but I remember it, one of those discovery type shows. My ex was from Agrinion.
This is so sad. There is a cemetery right the road from me and my daughter and I have been trying to clean it up. Our loved ones need to be remembered more and better
At first that rooster was running away from the crow which was following it. Maybe he felt protected around you. The crow stayed away but was pretty loud at the end. Anyway, it was fun to see a rooster friend in the cemetery! 😊
@@candikretz8526 😊 He was cute, too. When he started preening his feathers I was pretty sure he wasn't aggressive. It's not every day you see a rooster running around in a cemetery!
Very interesting video Ron,love your new best friend, did make me laugh.i should imagine alot of very interesting people buried there. Hope their faces are not forgotten. Take care from the UK 🇬🇧 😊
Considering that I have had chickens for most of my short-lived life I, like you, would never turn my back on an unfamiliar (or even familiar) rooster but he seemed sweet enough- probably thought you had food or was seeking protection from the crow. Loved the tour, though it is such a shame to see graves, if not the whole cemetery falling in such a state of disrepair.
A very interesting cemetery Ron. I love to see the homemade stones and the work that the family members put in to them. RIP to all who are buried there and the Veterans thank you for your sacrifice and service 🇺🇲✝️. Seeing that inscenerator in the middle of the cemetery and out in the open I never seen that before. Thanks Ron taking us along.
Some of those graves are so sad and others are well-loved. This place seems to be in better shape though than the other one you visited. And I love your new buddy! He's a friendly little guy -- a little guardian rooster. 🥰
Looks like Mr. Foghorn Leghorn is looking for a handout from ya RC! you should have bought some chicken scratch with you... I think the crows are intimidating to Mr. Foghorn a little as well, RC to the rescue. I bet that Mr. rooster feels more at ease with people around then with a bunch of unruly crows. Very interesting old cemetery, run down, but in its own way, beautiful, in a sad way. A job well done RC , like always big guy! thank you.

I think the rooster just liked your Hendrix t-shirt😂 Raised on a farm I learned never turn your back on a rooster they can mess you up. Great video really interesting to see that old oven in the middle of the place. Made me curious about how they used it & is it still work
Ron I do believe you’ve made a new friend. 😂 This cemetery is in better shape than the one you were in about a week or two ago. That oak tree is beautiful, nice to see that some family members come and maintain their relatives or friends graves. The art work and decorating is nice. I just love the shirt you have on.👑🎸
We have a way here in Iceland to prevent that much collapse, when the filling of the grave has started and all funeral guests have gone they push the showel of the machine used to dig and fill down into the grave until the coffin breaks then it will not create as big hole when it collapse more. I yhink its clever as we are not going to use that body anymore
That was a very sweet rooster. I knew immediately when he first approached you that he was friendly. I wonder if he has a home that he got away from.. I hope he doesn't just live there alone.
Love the Jimmy Hendrix tee shirt Ron. Roosters have spurs not dew claws & yes watch out. All was very interesting. Just wonder where he came from & why he was there!?!?

Everything is fascinating in New Orleans..It is so nice of you to visit these other, everyday places that reflect the real people and their love and loss..love your rooster friend..was a bit worried for you for a while lol..the crows made for an atmospheric vibe.
I really enjoyed this cemetery walk, Ron ! The conditions in this cemetery were variable but by and large, it was an uplifting experience to follow you around. People are doing what they can to keep it manageable and the hand made and decorated graves were Ok by me. It represents people doing what they can with what they have and that is touching in my eyes at least. Loved that gorgeous old tree with the Spanish moss hanging on it. Think of all the human activity it has seen over the years, it would be great if it could talk! As for the rooster, what a handsome specimen he is and I suspect he was relatively friendly. Maybe some visitors feed him on occasion. I suspect that the crows can give him a hard time , maybe territory squabbles?? Thanks again for taking us through this cemetery!
Hi Ron! No bones, but Rooster? You always can deliver something interesting! …I’m Hungarian ( living in Australia) so I was very surprised to hear the name of a cemetery in that part of a world named Hungarian? Wondering the reason?

Crows keep hawks away. So actually in return does help roosters. I have alot chickens. Lol. But any animal can be a prey to another

That rooster turned into your escort around the cemetery, He's keeping an eye on you so you don't pull any funny stuff. Maybe he wants you to take him home, he wants to live a better life. Thanks for the tour Ron, I enjoyed the video.
What awesome trees! Majestic!
Everything is fascinating in New Orleans..It is so nice of you to visit these other, everyday places that reflect the real people and their love and loss..love your rooster friend..was a bit worried for you for a while lol..the crows made for an atmospheric vibe.
The Rooster is the guard chicken for the cemetery.
Wild. Rooster…🐔🐔🐔
That incinerator doesn't look like it's being used. Not with all those weeds around it. Love what you do Ron
That dew claw is a spur. Lots of fighting chickens in that area. I think that rooster is looking for a hand full of feed.😊
I like this cemetery very unique!! So I guess you didn't have chicken for dinner tonight! Thanks Ron!!
Love that tee shirt Ron
Thank's for sharing ron
Hi Ron! No bones, but Rooster? You always can deliver something interesting! …I’m Hungarian ( living in Australia) so I was very surprised to hear the name of a cemetery in that part of a world named Hungarian? Wondering the reason?
Loving your T Shirt Ron!!! Definitely rocking it!!! ❤ 🎶 🎸
Funny how the rooster kept up with you. The crows were loud. That old tree was really beautiful.
Ron I absolutely love this. I have to watch again. I have been to busy looking at your new friend. I love it.
He was probably looking for food from you. People probably feed him when they visit there. He's a game rooster. Another great cemetery video!
