As someone that recently finished painting his first miniature your videos are pure insanity to me. I binged pretty much every video of yours in the last two days and am learning so much its insane.

1) your painting is like seeing masterwork art for the first time, speechless 2) your music to the videos is so well placed 3) suggestion: i came across this video "Music compilation for reading\painting Warhammer 40k" and i gotta say in my workshop, i am glued to the opening score (either that or a 40k audible book) and here is the suggestion... after the first minute of a grand fanfare, you are are left with 30 seconds of quiet before it begins to explode like the lord inquisitor himself has shown up and you want to confess.
This is absolute madness
My favorite part was the snakes! Adding the scales and the gloss. So pretty! And the bird. Those touches add so much

So is this style of mini painting have a name? Because I would like to look up a more detailed analysis so I can grasp the methodology better. From what I can see he’s building extreme textures with progressive layers of “sketchy” lines, harmonizing those layers with glazes. I’m sure there is stuff I’m missing here.
The harmonizing portion is often called a filter.
