For anyone with export issues from Mixamo, once you press download make sure your FBX format is either FBX 7.4 or FBX 6.1. You can select those in the drop down menu. Once you change that then you should be able to bring it back into Daz.
For anyone that its trying to do its like her, just keep in mind that usually MIXAMO dont allow gen8 - gen 3characters. Usually u have tu use a genesis starter or gen 2 character if u want mixamo to work.
I laughed at 1:50 so hard.. 'cause I'm the same. I'm so bad at rigging 😂 Thank you so much for this great tutorial! Looking forward to your new tutorials in the future, Stephy! Also, it was weird in my case that Mixamo worked with my obj files but not the fbx ones. (I tried both genesis 3 and 8 figures.)
Hi Stephy, I've noticed that when you "create aniblock from studio keyframes" of the animation from mixamo (6:25) you can untick "translation" and it should stop moving around. Not sure if it helps you.
To loop the animation, you can try dragging and extending the original aniblock on the timeline and it should loop (vs copy and paste the original multiple times) This works using regular aniblocks.
Really awesome tutorial!! There's nothing more comprehensive than tutorial, although I'm curious to how you actually make it loop with dynamic clothing from marvelous
I loved this and appreciate you sharing your process. Like seriously. And of course we want to see the technique... We want all the techniques!! Lol. Thanks
Great tutorial Stephy, Would love the next lesson on texturing the alembic. That would be super helpful right now. Thanks for sharing all of this - REO
Hi, Stephy. I am new to FashionDesign. When create 3d clothing how do you know what size, measurements, dimensions to use? So, you create it once then you can import into any Metaverse?Thank you so much. 💫✨😋🍉🌹🌻✨💫
I used Genesis 2. Exported in .fbx (2020) file format. I tried Genesis 9. Where I exported .obj file format since mixamo couldn't read the .fbx version. I think Genesis 9 rigging pattern is different from what mixamo uses. Because importing it back to Daz 3D gave me error messages regarding the rigging. In summary, use Genesis 2. It works just fine.
Thank you for your tutorial, which is very helpful.I want to ask how to load the texture of the material into c4d. The set of clothes I poured in, the top and trousers became a whole and could not be separated. Looking forward to your subsequent tutorial🤩
Heya, I'm currently creating a Domestika course on how to do that. However if you can't wait for that course then check out Travis David's channel, I've learnt a lot from him, especially from this video: th-cam.com/video/jgNz-wmtJ2Y/w-d-xo.html
Hi Stephy! Thanks for this!!! I´m trying to do it but in DAZ studio the ´pose & animate' tab is no longer available :( and I don't know if that is the reason but I can't get to get it done :( I have tried it for 3 days and I checked some tutorials about DAZ but couldn't find an answer for the lack of this tab :( can someone help me please!!
For anybody wondering , Gen 3 doesn't work for me , I'm using the newest 2022 Mac, maybe it's the save type ( which was fbx) . I'm not sure why , but mixamo wouldn't take the 3rd gen avatar
i like your work very much I follow you from Thailand I want you to teach me how to put clothes in clo3d in your own photo to make it look like you are wearing real clothes.🙏🏻✨🥰
