I finished Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow last week and GIRL, do I agree that the last quarter of the book was so poignant and emotional. Everytime I think about it get teary eyed too lol Not to mention, there are a few quotes throughout the book that really resonated with me and and I rarely highlight quotes. The evolution of all the relationships throughout the book felt so realistic, both between friends and the different family dynamics. Really outstanding read! Thanks for the other recommendations in this video! You look fab as always ✨
THIS!!!!!!! I never highlight quotes either, as I try to keep my books in great condition, but I couldn’t help it! So many beautiful quotes in this book. Ugh, I just love it so much! Oh the last quarter literally broke me. 💔 I also feel like I could reread this book and still get more out of it as well. Completely agree with you, it was outstanding.

When you held up Sorrow and Bliss, I was literally about to comment about You Be Mother! I recently read it and I thought it was so amazingly written. I read Sorrow and Bliss last year and remember being impressed but You Be Mother was so beautiful. The development of the characters was perfect. I keep thinking about the book and I’ve read two others since reading it! x

Tomorrow x3 was one of my first reads in 2023 and it was hard to beat as a favourite that year! I've also JUST finished Cleopatra and Frankenstein and didn't expect to love it so much. I've also had sorrow and bliss on my shelf for about a year so looks like I'll need to move that up! 😂

If you liked Tomorrow X3, id recommend Still Life by Sarah Winman (if you haven't read it yet). The vibes are similar and it's a beautiful celebration of life, love, art, and beauty. It's heartwarming without being sappy or cheesy. I read Still Life first and when reading Tomorrow X3 I felt like it was scratching the same itch in all the right ways.

I didnt finish Honey and Spice because the main character is the kind of charcuterie i cannot connect with. Reminds me too much of ppl irl. i liked Love in Color though.
For it ends with us, i didn't finish that either. i googled the doctor character to see what was up and went "that sounds about right".

Oh my gosh, I just finished I Who Have Never Known Men. This book just killed me -- and I get that it will not do that for everyone -- but it really crawled into me and is stuck there. I didn't feel this way until near the ending, and by that point, I absolutely loved it. 5⭐️ for me.
Omg I finished it a couple of days ago and it was so eerie and harrowing. 😢
It will certainly stay with me forever. It was going to be a 5⭐️ for me but I absolutely loathe long chapters, so I had to knock it down a star. Apart from that, it was a brilliant book!
Young Mungo IS a standalone, so no worries. I loved it.

Great video 😉There is a series called From Scratch so so so good 😊 I think on Netflix it is based on the book by Tembi Locke “From Scratch “which I am hoping to read soon.
Toooootally agree on GHOSTS and on Dolly Alderton’s tendency to write super privileged characters in general, BUT I have to say I gave GOOD MATERIAL a go and was really pleasantly surprised by it, it definitely shows a bit more range and it was really refreshing to read from a male characters perspective. Would recommend giving it a go!
