It is a ranking of presidential abilities. Categories of skills, not overall impact as President. There are areas where one can argue Trump performed better/higher than other Presidents. It is also skewed by recency; in 20 years, both Obama and Trump will be ranked lower as long-term effects of their administrations play out in history.

He also did not bundle up, so he could show he was physically strong, and could withstand the weather (believe he was in his 60s). Because of this, he developed first a cold, which turned into pneumonia. Think it says something about his personal judgement.

Those other bottom-of-the barrel presidents had become largely forgotten; brought back into the spotlight as many of us began to ponder just how low Trump would be likely be ranked. But unlike them, I predict that Trump will not be forgotten. He has been one of the most potent forces to hold the office, mostly for bad. But regardless of how he's remembered, he will be remembered. I hope he's remembered as a warning that we cannot take our democracy for granted, but time will tell.

Eisenhower also warned us about the military industrial complex getting out of control. My own view is that Time Magazine got it wrong in 2000 when they chose Albert Einstein as Man Of The Century. The Twentieth Century was notable for the greatest advancement in Science and Technology, the great abuses of human rights, the most destructive wars and the greatest increase in living standards. Einstein was the towering figure in science, but FDR was responsible for shaping the postwar world and should rightfully have been Man of the Century.
FDR is certainly an American icon who felt adoration at the time. However Truman had low to mediocre public approval during his time in the White House. Thus Truman has always been my favorite President of the 20th century, along with James Polk of the 19th century, because both were underdogs for so long.
It's ridiculous to even rank William Henry Harrison or James Garfield. We'll never know what these guys might have achieved since they only lasted one and four months respectively.

Back in March 2019 I was asked by a Trump voting American boss who was on a business trip to Europe what us Europeans thought of Trump. I said: "Well, I can't speak for the whole continent, but my personal opinion is that, when the history books of the early 21st century are written they will call him the worst president you guys have ever had." - I had no idea how right that prediction was going to be.

For pulling the US out of the Paris accords for example, so the only way he doesn't qualify on that on is if the press conference I watched where he said he was doing that was a lie. Then of course there is the fact that his inaction on Covid-19 makes him responsible for the deaths of more Americans than any other person in history, which would only be untrue if he had instituted measures back in March/April 2020 including a US wide mask mandate. Did he do that and somehow I never heard about it on this side of the Atlantic? I could go on. He also did not bundle up, so he could show he was physically strong, and could withstand the weather (believe he was in his 60s). Anyway, DTP is about REDIRECTING some police funding away from purchasing military equipment and toward social services to be on the front line for some situations like mentally-challenged homeless people or some domestic disturbance calls. I support DTP as defined in that way - the way it is defined by the majority of supporters of DTP. It's not about stripping police of all funding or mass downsizing and layoffs of police.
I believe in repealing or significantly modifying the filibuster. It is an outdated relic from the Jim Crow era that was used originally to prevent equality for blacks. It's LONG OVERDUE for Democrats to grow a spine and learn how to play political hardball like the Republicans. The main things the Dem's want to pass already have bipartisan support of Republican VOTERS, so there's not need to include Republican politicians in Washington that don't support what their own constituents want - a $15 minimum wage, higher taxes on the wealthy and corporations, significant infrastructure repairs, addressing the climate crisis, etc. Unfortunately, AGAIN, Biden isn't really pushing for this at all. He could easily put effective pressure on Senators Manchin and Sinema but he's NOT. He's using them as an excuse NOT to repeal the filibuster. His corporate donors don't want the filibuster repealed because then it would allow changing the laws that allow corporations to hide their obscene funding and control of Washington. During the campaign Biden told his big corporate donors not to worry, "nothing will fundamentally change."
I believe in adding D.C. and Puerto Rico as states. LONG OVERDUE. They currently have taxation without representation, which is totally un-American and the original reason we declared independence from England. Again, I WISH Biden was fighting for this. He hasn't lifted a finge r to do so.

Not only have the Republicans stolen SC seats from the Dem's and packed the courts illegally and in violation of the Constitution, but administratively/historically there were 9 federal districts for many years that corresponded to the 9 seats. Over the years, due to increase in cases the districts have grown to 13(?) or perhaps more. It makes sense to expand the court. There is no Constitutional law preventing this. Again, I'm all for it but your frightened accusation of Biden pursuing this is completely unfounded, as is your scared whining about him "transforming US --- to socialism!" You obviously don't even know what socialism is.
We already have socialism - predominantly Corporate Socialism. My own view is that Time Magazine got it wrong in 2000 when they chose Albert Einstein as Man Of The Century. The Twentieth Century was notable for the greatest advancement in Science and Technology, the great abuses of human rights, the most destructive wars and the greatest increase in living standards. Einstein was the towering figure in science, but FDR was responsible for shaping the postwar world and should rightfully have been Man of the Century.
FDR is certainly an American icon who felt adoration at the time. However Truman had low to mediocre public approval during his time in the White House. Thus Truman has always been my favorite President of the 20th century, along with James Polk of the 19th century, because both were underdogs for so long.
FDR was very, very bad.

Back in March 2019 I was asked by a Trump voting American boss who was on a business trip to Europe what us Europeans thought of Trump. I said: "Well, I can't speak for the whole continent, but my personal opinion is that, when the history books of the early 21st century are written they will call him the worst president you guys have ever had." - I had no idea how right that prediction was going to be.
@Ranger Don Well I think he qualifies many times over. For pulling the US out of the Paris accords for example, so the only way he doesn't qualify on that on is if the press conference I watched where he said he was doing that was a lie.
Then of course there is the fact that his inaction on Covid-19 makes him responsible for the deaths of more Americans than any other person in history, which would only be untrue if he had instituted measures back in March/April 2020 including a US wide mask mandate. Did he do that and somehow I never heard about it on this side of the Atlantic?
I could go on. But the point is some of the evidence that proves he was an appallingly bad POTUS comes from what he never did so it's not a question of what I've been told, more a question of what I could not have been told because it never happened. And a lot of other evidence came direct from Trump himself.
