Prayers for all of you. 2024 has been a hard year on many people. My husband is using his oxygen today. My daughter has been fighting sinus infections. So much sickness around. Be safe!
This year just has to be better. Floods here in Tennessee have been bad too. My back yard stays swampy. You take good care of your animals. Praying for all of you. Hope somebody is staying with your Grandma and she pulls through. Soggy doesn't help our spirits does it. Praying fo sunshine too.
It rained all night last night, now it is snowing. We need the moisture, but it won't soak in the ground because the ground is frozen down 4-5" We also worry about to much snow in the mountains and then warming up to quickly and we flood again via high water in the Clark's Fork of the Yellowstone River. We are always on guard now. Praying for your grandma for speed and complete healing, and the same for Red. We also will be praying you stay dry. 2024 has been a hard year for many, a dear friend of ours lost his son in law, and his daughter and two grandchildren are severely injured due to a semi-truck being blown across the interstate and head on into them, due to high winds just before Christmas. Hugs to you and family. You are correct that aging isn't for whimps and a wise man told me the Golden years, well the doctors get the gold, and you get the years.

prayers for everone to get well n be warm n safe last time i was in the hospital they wouldnt let me out i waited until after the nurses checked on me then got dressed and went home healed up quicker and faster at home n didnt even need that dr to sign release papers

Prayers for old Red…. I too have heart arrhythmia and lung disease like old red. Seems like the heart issue started during COVID-19. Had a heart operation just a few months ago where they went inside the heart with a lazer and burned nerve areas inside the lower heart chamber that sent false signals causing the heart to beat irregularly and super fast and that surgery helped a lot. I also have Emphysema and just started having to use an oxygen machine to breath at night. The heart issues can be improved and controlled with surgery and medicines but the Emphysema cannot be fixed. My prayers and understanding go out to Old Red…. He will get better, it just takes time…

Red better get that a fib straightened out before he comes home. Most don’t like being in the hospital. But when you have to be there you have to be there. He’s probably looking at being on blood thinners if they don’t get his rhythm back into normal sinus rhythm. Afib can cause strokes if left unmanaged. Red is looking at a big life change with these new health issues. He will need to adjust. Hopefully he’s able to have home health for the first little while after discharge. He’ll probably be sent home on new medications as well. I hope all goes well when he’s gets home. Prayers for your grandma and Red. Thanks for sharing. Take care, see ya :)
Its been raining here in Washington for weeks now and theres no relief in sight! My daughter drives a school bus and her family has been sick for a month! The school attendance has been half attendance for 2 months! Hopefully theyll recover before school starts again!
Prayers for all of you and Red, just a side note, have your grandma sip on a mix of pineapple juice with local honey at room temp, this will help your lungs clear up and reduce coughing and discomfort. Also if she can eat raw onions and garlic, this is a very effective remedy from my old timers in the great Appalachian, they swore by this, yes their breathe will stank, but it'll help them better than any meds out there. It came to mind a few months back when you were showing the crick bottom that it looked like it needs a excavator to clean all the brush out! As it is now it can't drain fast enough to move the water, I am sure that you already knew that! We all put things off that maybe we shouldn't!

If Red is having atrial fibrillation (AFib), they will most likely transfer him down to Boise and insert a pacemaker. The good thing is, they perform those procedures all the time now with good results. Either way, we will be praying for him. 🙏
Treatment for a fib is usually cardioversion, anticoagulants, beta blockers, calcium channel blockers or cardiac ablation. A pacemaker is not indicated for a fib.
@@daniellesduckheadhomestead3127 Medication is advised as a "first" treatment, but when the patient doesn't respond (which happens more than not), a pacemaker is the number one treatment for "AFib", not "fib". (Google it!)

I live on a flat spot at the bottom of Fields and there's a run off ditch in the back of the house and my house is below along with my septic tank than where it floods over the sides and it's crazy at times with my septic tank overflowing and backing up into the toilet and into the bathroom which is just a pain so I know exactly what you mean about being in the bottom. Luckily the water flows into the field after it floods my tank but in the last year or two I've got videos of lakes round the back because the pipe isn't big enough for all the water. I'm sick of the wind because it's the norm for it to be between 40 and 70 mph every week as well as heavy rain. It's a pain because I can't walk in it and it's blowing stuff all over the place and I can't move it. It's not normal to have a week of constant strong winds with a few days break. It's over 60 out there now and I've been feeling like I'm dying for the last few days and I need to get out and see to my Chuck's, duck's and cat's. It's meant to be heavy rain tonight and tomorrow so I'm probably going to be flooded as well. 😧💚💛❤️👍
I had a radiator heater given to me after raising my light bill a hundred dollars I laid it on the side of the road as if it fell off someone's pickup I hope they have more money than me whoever got it
