This game is the closest I've ever seen to how real gaming groups play. I love it so much. Jason's a great GM, and every player brings something awesome to the table. I'm really looking forward to seven more episodes!
The narrative background injections during combat is a clever bit of GM play. I will be borrowing that idea! It's nice to see you all back for a season 2. Thanks for inviting us to your game table. :)

I am watching this during a tough time in our history. Giving me enjoyment and inspiration to continue playing Pathfinder: Kingmaker on Xbox. Even though it is a different type of game it still have the story driven mechanic I love. From the same universe so I feel apart of their world too. And it is still a d20 game ie a crit is still a crit.
I seriously love your episodes. I'm sad when I try to watch others. There's a big difference between gratutitious swearing and occassionaly swearing. Or talking about d'@*'s or whatever. You all make it a tasteful account and it's understood, not just thrown in your face. I enjoy that so much more. Thank you.
Geek and Sundry have never disappointed me. But when I try Criticle Role? Yipes. I won't go back to them. As I said, I don't mind swearing if I'm warned ahead of time and it's just not vulgar for the sake of being vulgar. They just seem... to enjoy the in your face type of thing and it really doesn't add to the story. It's just said because they can. It seems that way anyway and it's not all that enjoyable.
@@juliataylor707 I do remember a bit of crass humor, mostly from Sam, in Campaign 1, but I'd say that calmed down during the first year. Have you tried Campaign 2? It's pretty much the best game on the internet. Another great YT channel outside of G&S is College Humor with their Dimension 20. They're comedians, so they do use adult language here or there, but I don't remember it being crass or overused. Guys, any other ideas?
Everytime Mr. Bulmahm says "making your way down" I take a drink. Began this after episode 5 of season 1. Unfortunately I started running out of liquid (besides water) to drink too quickly, so now I just sing "Making my way downtown, bags are packed and I'm homebound...." Luckily I haven't got tired of that song yet, cause these guys and gals are all amazing to watch!

So glad to see Season 2 in motion! Thanks! A question I had isn't answered, so I'll ask it right here. In the last season, Linneus expressed that her duty was to go after the trouble in Last Wall and return to investigate them. We didn't get to hear on screen why she has apparently changed her mind. Would you mind elaborating here? Thanks and the light shine upon you all!
It is not Retributive Strike, but an effect of his weapon, which uses the effect of the Retribution Axe from p. 602 of the Core Rulebook. He does additonal 2 points of damage against the foe, who damaged him most recently.
So... I started working out a character for PF2E after watching this, and am I missing something, or can elves not purchase elven weapons without taking a feat? What unearthly power prohibits someone from buying something? I mean, two elves walk into the same shop which happens to have a couple elven curve blades for sale. One of them has the "Elven Proficiency" feat, and the other does not. The storekeeper is somehow physically restrained from selling the 2nd sword to the other elf. WHY!? Why is this a thing?!
The assumption with uncommon stuff is that it's being acquired far away from where it's common, or is rare enough that there's no guarantee it can be acquired. Besides being a sort of sanity check, it's also used to gate potentially powerful/campaign changing stuff, alongside Rare and Unique - in either case it's up to the GM what they're comfortable with. Elven curved blades are more "assumed to be common elsewhere" than "rare in general", and the book accounts for this by noting that GMs should change them to Common if the area would have it make sense. Say, a shop in majority-elven lands, or in an elven settlement. So, no, if the shop you encounter mid-campaign happens to have elven curved blades in stock, there's nothing stopping you from buying them, "access" as defined in feats like the ancestry one just mean "hey GM I paid a thing so the character I'm making grew up in a place where they're common/found this/otherwise is justified in having it". This is for the inevitable powerful-but-particular stuff like Wayang Spellhunter that powergamers would assume they can make their build exclusively out of with some contrived backstory stuff - and only the default, mind, GMs can easily say "no I don't care you can use whatever uncommon stuff you want". More important for the ancestry feat's existence is that elven curved blades are advanced weapons, so you can't use them well/at all without being an elf, a human, familiar with/raised by one of the above, or being a Fighter with a specific feat. The problem in play isn't necessarily buying the curved blade, it's knowing how to use it well. Presumably an uncommon weapon that's merely martial wouldn't require a feat at all if you knew where to acquire it.
I like the show a lot, but sometimes i want to see the reaction of a specific person, but the camera is in other one. I think the show would be better if they show everybody all the time... 3 part camera style, like most of the rpg shows.
