- In this video I had the pleasure of getting a chance to work with the product called heat sheet, a Canadian -based company. The United States affiliate and local distributor to us is Thermo Supply. This product is designed to insulate and install a vapor barrier underneath the concrete. This makes it easier to install heating tubing poured into the concrete floor, minimizing the chances of being cut with a concrete saw When expansion joints are cut in after the concrete is poured. I did the majority of this project by myself-it would make it go a lot faster with an extra set of hands, but I wanted to show the audience that, with a little time and patience this project could be done alone saving thousands of dollars by not paying a contractor ! #barndominium #heated #infloorheat #construction

That is an excellent looking process and let me tell you, there is nothing that fancy in my home! I love the vapor barrier that it creates. My Concrete since it is just sealed, I can see how the moisture darkens and lightens based on the weather and the amount the AC or wood stove is burning. I am excited to see the progress and respect to you because I know you are busier than anyone could possibly imagine. Keep up the good work Tom!

That floor is looking amazing! What happened to your audio though? It was hard to hear some of what you were saying. The place is coming along nicely. You guys will have a beautiful home when you're finished!
Thank you he was really hard to film it in sign because it was echoing really bad. I used different equipment on the next one of installing the tubing. Hopefully, it’s better really take that in consideration. Lol

Thank you I believe they said right around 110° to 120°. I don’t think you can go much hotter than that will damage the concrete.
