Loves Triumphs over War makes sense that it's packed! It's two different characters at odds with each other where one wins out. So, two different profiles vying for attention.
I love the house of Argos! They smell high quality and have the performance to match. I have 3 (Adonis Awakens, Triumph of Bacchus, and Brivida Della Caccia). Adonis is my all time favorite Rose fragrance, and Triumph is my go to for special occasions in the winter. My least favorite is Brivida Della Caccia as I'm not a big fan of green or leather fragrances, but the Juniper keeps it so fresh and light that I keep going back to it and enjoying it more each time.
Ah great. I love Argos! One of the first to use raspberry a lot. Adonis Awakens has basically been my signature sent for years. A great rose fragrance without the overplayed rose/oud combination. And Danaë of course. Thinking of also adding Brivido della Caccia. After much deliberation I think I like it a litte bit more then Bacio Immortale. But that is also a great, green herbal, fragrance. Final recommendation is of course Triumph of Bacchus as a boozy scent. Haven't tried the new version. Enjoy!! 😅
None of the fragrances from this house have that refined/expensive smelling thing that I am looking for in full bottle worthy buys. Danae and Triumph of Bacchus were the stand outs for me though and the bottles sure are beautiful. Think they have an extrait now of triumph of Bacchus that I have yet to get my hands on.
I think I am the only one on the planet who doesn't like the bottle, for the same reason I don't like the Electimuss bottles. Having said that. I do own Triumph of Bacchus.

If you order internationally, be prepared for slow delivery. I ordered 17 days ago and haven't received any updates on my order for over a week. Their courier is the worst I've experienced. They also haven't replied to my inquiries for over three days. I have never gone out of my way to leave such comments on a product or service before, but when you do all these collaborations and promote your brand as luxurious and great, you should live up to it throughout the entire process. I even asked for a refund, but I have to wait for it to be processed, send the product back, and probably pay for the return shipping. I would not recommend this company.

You have to try adonis awakens and triumph of bacchus original / the new extrait version. My favourite from the brand is triumph of bacchus, it is like the best version of fragrance in the same tobacco family as red tobacco, Carlisle, mystery tobacco, etc. imagine a sweet syrupy peach with boozy vanilla tobacco, it isn’t smoked tobacco, it’s just the sexiest and most amazing tobacco, especially in the air
Argos bottles are so gorgeous I blind-bought the 30ml of Birth of Venus. It did take me a while to understand this dense fragrance. Not the easiest reach in the world, but your review helped me appreciate it a lot more. I also bought the discovery kit and really liked Adonis Awakens, Pallas Athene and Pour Femme. They have a Pour Homme as well. Would love to see a whole house overview from you, Sebastian! A very intriguing house, but their dense compositions bring to mind a quote from the movie Amadeus: "Too many notes!" 😆
Having just embarked on a mission to collect some gourmands, I am always looking at new (to me) perfumes. I do think presentation is important. Now that I know not to leave the bottles exposed to any light, the box really matters. These are quite florid but I do like them. Not sure which one is the most gourmand and oriental/exotic - Birth of Venus perhaps. I love the idea of powerful, dense fragrances since I seem to be nose-blind to more subtle scents typically. I do want to consider one of these as any true collector would, and, my taste evolves. So glad to learn about this house and these three fragrances (and who wouldn't appreciate a company that features Boticelli???). 😽
Sebastion, two of my favorites from Argos are Baccio Immortale and Bravido Della Caccia. I have 7 of their fragrances and I think the house is fantastic. If you like green earthy fragrances, these two are great. Not sure if you have tried them yet.
I love Argos! That was the first niche fragrance house I tried, with the sample pack. I liked Bacio Immortale the best, so that's the one full bottle I've bought so far. I made a review video on here for them 🥳 I really like "Thrill of the Chase" and "Love Triumphs Over War" too, and "Adonis Awakens"!
I have TOB and Danae, but I think they are more winter, so not reaching for them right now. I like them, and am curious about some of the others. Thank you ❤
I've tried the house and their Pour Homme, Pallas Athene is also really good the Pour homme suffers from performance issues but still a great office scent Danae is my favorite from the line.

Oh no! This is an American brand maybe that's why. But you shouldn't have so much trouble finding Dusita though but glad you found it. This one might be tougher since it's an American house! :)

I normally do not disagree with you but here I have to 100% they do absolutely have a thick DNA to them but they do not come across busy.. they all paint the picture in fragrance fashion. The thing I respect is the statement of how it may differ on others skin. I have several from this brand and they develop amazing on my skin. I would encourage anyone to just buy the sample pack and check them out. They are beautiful
We don’t have to agree with everything. We experience Fragrances differently Love Triumphs Over Ear was extremely busy did not come together for me. Everything was thrown in and it needed a lot of editing. Danae was amazing!! 😀

Argos Triump of Bacchus is one of my very top tier fragrences.
If the perfumer had actually done some research regarding Venus arising from the foamy sea they would've incorporated aquatic or salty notes.

I sampled 3 ARGOS perfume. Pallas Athene, Danae, Bacio immortals. Nice but I'm not a fan of ARGOS.
The only one I've experienced is Triumph of Bacchus. It's fantastic, and reminiscent of PdM Carlisle.

I honestly love some of the feminine fragrances and have bought one for a lady in my life. Pallas Athene. I like Birth of Venus a bit better.
