Nice videos, and a very good skill at work, in woods and also during repairing your machines.Surely more than me. The massey is old but gold and really productive at work, also the winch and choker system is good. I suggest you a repair for you when you are using your winch. If you broke the cable or a chain would be really really dangerous.with your skills you could even put some electric piston om the command and remote control.
I lost all snow last week, only had 1ft, but it was enough to smooth out woods road so I could go in 1st gear high range, almost to where I was cutting my firewood. Now I'm all done til ground dries up and or when I feel like going in granny gear, that could be August..... You showed why I prefer FEL on tractor. My bucket has 16" forks so I can lift logs, pile brush, put up high to push trees over, and if stuck I can use bucket to push me back out, best of all I can brag on how much better a FEL is vs blade, if I wanted to brag.....
Really liked this vid, hopefully we will see more in the future. Are you going to winch those birches as a whole or cut them up and transport them with the forestry trailer? Thanks for the great video again.
I'm skidding them whole to an area further back on the road, then I pick them up there with the timber trailer. I am working on the next video, shouldn't be too long. Thanks for the nice comment, and for watching ❤️
@@woodlandwrench got you, seems like the terrain on the last bit of the road would be too much for the New holland and the forestry trailer. Atleast it seemed like it was a wet spot.
Haha yeah sorry I got pressed for time when editing, so it became 2 videos. Hot dog is in the last video I uploaded -> th-cam.com/video/Ie2-6SO703s/w-d-xo.html
I dont think you should let your chainsaw idle for too long. I causes carbon bildup, wastes fuel and bar oil, insuficient lubrication and is hard on clutch bearing. Greetings from Serbia
Thank you for sharing this video with us. I enjoyed it.
That's awesome to hear! What a nice comment, thank you very much ❤

Thanks for the tips! The winch is indeed a bit scetchy

Agree! Thanks for the comment ❤
Cool video. I always enjoyed logging in the snow. I was really looking forward to a hot dog. What happened?

Didn't know it had all those negative impacts. Thanks for the comment ❤️
bar oil pump isnt running when the saw is idling
Why are you afraid to give it some damn gas?
I don't see any problem out there. He's using his tractor propprely in these wet conditions.
in romania here is no snow
Well it thawed a lot here too just after I filmed this.
Thanks for the comment! ❤
