Started helping out my local gym with some route setting and stumbled onto your video while searching for guides. im still very new to setting, understanding complexity, intensity, etc. Hope you make more route setting videos? Would love to learn more about the different ways of setting on different angles of walls, moves, etc

Will definitely make more route setting videos in the future, I might even make a little series/playlist with the different aspects of it although I'm focusing more on outdoor content atm...! That'll definitely come at some point :)

Great insight into setting! Definitely full-on but one of the best things I do, looking forward to more content :)

Thanks man! Yeah it's quite hard work but I wouldn't change it for anything else!

Do you have minimal grade you must climb to become a setter apprentice?

Hey, thanks for your comment! Not really, as long as you can climb V0 you can set. Obviously the bigger your range is the better. I'd say being an intermediate climber V3 to V6 is good for commercial setting as a big amount of climbers in a gym are usually in this range

They are usually appreciated if you do freelance work but you can also be trained in house
