Wow. That's even more magical than I thought. If u were lucky enough to film on a sunny day, believe me it would have have remarkable footage.
    Better still, it's gorgeous.
Many thanks once again Sean...in live with your vlog.

Beautiful landscape! (So many questions, feel free to answer or ignore, lol) Was the long drive by design, or was that the closest jumping off point? In some underdeveloped countries there are ‘checkpoints’ or a military presence, I didn’t see any of that in your vids. As a foreign traveler did you feel safe on that journey? The tea fields are something you rarely see, but I don’t know why. That must be a major commodity when you think of it. Did you have to repeat that drive on the return?
    Thanks for sharing! 🌍😊👍

Never a problem I always love answering (if I know 😂) questions. Not to mention, I can only put so much info in these that I have to be selective.
The long drive was by design (they do have smaller planes to travel within the country but I thought it’d be a great way to save $ and see more of the country from the ground). We did repeat the drive at the end of the trip (there was a lot of driving but totally worth it) though we took a few different routes with stops at any sight we came close to. I did see military patrolling certain villages or locations (the most being at the Rwanda/Uganda border). I had to refrain from recording as you are not supposed to film military personnel/building etc. unless I could ask for permission. It was interesting while on a safari one man (military) approached us with a small stack of papers. I was kinda nervous because he had a “No BS” look on his face. Once by our vehicle he smiled and asked if I wanted to purchase a map of Uganda (all money going towards the local community I was at). I happily bought one and he was a very cool guy. At no time did I feel in danger most people I came across I think were just curious and liked practicing their English (most people spoke English very well. Still very interesting). The tea fields were something to see especially when the workers were picking the leaves. The bright green leaves are used for tea the dark green leaves are too mature to use. I will cover more in the next videos. Always appreciate the support Mr. Conroy! The next video will be my Chimpanzee trek 😎

@@SeanCurrier.. I appreciate the reply Sean.
Just to add on.. the only thing u would see are traffic officers along highways and roads, to check on traffic offenses mostly. Check points are from boarder to boarder and at the airport security. Anybody who's been to Uganda can confirm that.
