Some things I’d like to see is some advanced tips and tricks when using a 4th axis. Like profiling parts and having ball endmills use the tilt and lean or any of the 5 axis tool paths. I recently used something like that on an oblong part and it was tricky to figure out if you’ve never used those features.
Thank you . This is the best explanation of how to work with the assembly.
Glad it was helpful!
Phil glad to see you making videos! Was tuned into you on next gen happy your off doing your own thing. I have a question about the machine simulation vise locating. Say a 3axis. And I want to position vise in relation to where it's actually positioned on machine. How can I do that. All I see is selecting points on the table. The table v.s. machine travels is something I can't quit figure out.
Can you send me an email it would be easier to show you via a screen share.

Top notch content, Thank for the training
Glad you enjoyed it
Perfect video - we are just about to get a UMC350 Haas 5 axis and prepping now - we competed in Project MFG competition last 2 years
Well done
Thank you.
That helps me a lot, thanks😊
Happy to help!
How would you do this using a 5TH AXIS Dovetail fixture like a R96D362?
Upside down with Tabs. Send me an email I can walk you through it.

I had to delete the 3rd joint (@ 4:00 minute mark) where it orientates the vise to the Origin. It was later keeping me from orientating the stock to the Origin (@14:30 minute mark). Took me an hour to figure that out. Not sure why but that 3rd joint wouldn't allow the vise to move with the stock when I tried orientating the Origin to the top of the stock.
Thank you for the feed back Ill look into it.
