“This Could’ve Led To World War Three!” | Russian Pilot Tries To Shoot Down RAF Plane

  • เผยแพร่เมื่อ 13 ก.ย. 2023
  • A Russian pilot tried to shoot down an RAF spy plane believing he had been given permission to fire, according to a report.
Russia blamed a “technical malfunction” for causing the incident over the Black Sea on September 29 last year.
But intercepted communications suggest the pilot fired after receiving an ambiguous command from a Russian ground station.
The RAF plane had been flying a surveillance mission in international airspace when it encountered two Russian SU-27 fighter jets.
TalkTV’s Kevin O’Sullivan is joined by former RAF fighter pilot Tim Davies to get insights into fighter jets and the ‘nearly catastrophic' situation.
“There were very good lines of communication established between the UK and Russia… hopefully if those lines are maintained then we shouldn’t have too much more of this in the future.”

Because, you never know, this could expand into a bigger conflict. Sucking up intelligence on a potential foe is VERY useful should that potential bit be removed. Learn how they command and control, what their tactics are, what their movements are, etc, etc. To win an possible future conflict you must learn about your possible future enemy.

Britain and other nations as a part of NATO or even as an independent entity is entitled to gather whatever information that flight route as is possible. Once gathered it is up to NATO/UK to whom that info is disseminated. Britain has been considered Russian/USSR interference as unwelcome since about 1917 - has stopped them doing it anywhere in the world they felt they could cause foment, misery and discord. I sincerely hope as a UK taxpayer these flights are unwelcome by Russia and Russia is welcome to view it any British participation or lack thereof any way they choose. Or........ they could just return all of their armed forces back to within pre first invasion Russian borders tut suite and the world can ease springs a little while the cost of what they have perpetrated is toted and they are presented with the bill for reparations for the horrors they have brought to a free and democratic nations just going about its business of deciding its future without Russian interference.

Because yesterday it was all about Putin getting support from Kim Jong. That little guy is itching to play with his nuclear toys. His involvement ups the ante so the BBC are sabre rattling, insinuating Russian aggression towards a NATO member, hoping to garner NATO involvement in Putins domestic fight. This is dangerous because so far, Putin has been very restrained in his response to interference from other countries and thinly veiled NATO support for Ukraine. Putin has offered a couple of times to ceasefire and negotiate, but the little green puppet refuses, preferring to see his country destroyed and people killed.

First of all the British army is directly involved and has been involved in proxy wars and in this specific proxy war since even before the current war in Ukraine started. No, it wouldn't ignite WW3 because that would mean a complete destruction of both sides with nuclear bombs which will lead to a complete destruction of humanity. Even if such an incident were to happen, it wouldn't be the trigger because it can't be a trigger for a direct war that can't happen and both sides know that well.

I remember a story of a Russian nuke missile operator who decided not to retaliate to a warning on his screen during the Cuban missile crisis and fire his missiles, averting a war. So as we can se it's not a one way street, accident can happen on both sides.

Russians also like to forget the US and British forces defeating Germany in North Africa, and 3 invasions of Europe to occupy the German military machine and divert attention from the Soviet Forces on the eastern front which the Germans could ill afford to do. Hence he Allied victory.
Im not even talking about how the allies occupying the japanese in the pacific prevented them from attacking Russia from the east and beating Russia for a second time (which Stalin was actually very worried about).
