Why was this place abandoned? It’s gorgeous! Id could fix it up so cute. I loved the kitchen! It needed a dishwasher, though. I didn’t see AC either, and that furnace was seemed way too old. But the knotty pine floors and stairwell-to die for! That roof leak will seal the deal on the house not able to be saved. I’m not sure what’s worse-leaky, wet basement giving poor support or a bad roof. Both can spell disaster if not fixed then maintained. You can always replace a furnace or the electrics, but foundation and roofs are priority. When I visit houses with intent to flip, I go to the basement straight away, then the attic. If I’m satisfied, then I check layout, bathrooms, etc I’d prefer to start with wall paint and window treatments because that is where the fun is, but the “bones” are more important. And the pool…I’d fix the roof then the pool. I love pools. I can picture myself in my new swimsuit holding a tray of beverages as I served guests who were languishing poolside. Ahhhhh…such beautiful dreams? Brandon, any idea why this was abandoned, if it’s for sale or what? It’s probably going to become a new housing development. No offense to builders building new subdivisions, but I really don’t care for new builds. I own a 1929 craftsman bungalow, 2800 sq ft above ground, finished basement. The upper level has been sectioned off into an apartment, taking about 1000 sq ft of the 2800. I like the charm of houses from days gone by. The apartment has a huge, walk-in area under the eaves. Goes the whole width of the house by about five feet. I’m not sure why I’m rambling like this. Readers probably don’t care about my house, lol! Brandon, you have become my favorite explorer. I used to give that honor to Proper People, which I still love, but you have surpassed them in my estimation. I really enjoy the way you present things. I would ask that you move the camera around a room far more slowly. Since we aren’t there, we need an extra second to get some perspective. Thank you. Best wishes on your channel!

That whole property is beautiful, house, barns, land and pool. It's a shame there's a leak but I didn't notice any water damage upstairs so why is there a crack in the ceiling and water on the floor on the main floor? A pipe? It would be interesting to know why it's unoccupied.

Awesome home, what a waste, I love the brick and wood detail warm! They took good care of their home and animals, sad it’s empty it may be stuck in probate and or other legal issues. Thanks for the adventure I can’t get out due to severe physical disability’s so I enjoy checking other areas out, be safe!

after catching up on a handful of your videos, this one has to be my FAVORITE! The picturesque property is post card perfect! That bathroom though! I mean WOW. I think i woulda packed that up and taken it with! Thing is, with 0 bedrooms on the main floor, it's quite a trek dripping wet, back to your bedroom after enjoyiing a jacuzzi tub and the atmosphere in there. Wouldn't it have been better placed upstairs? Just sayin'

Doesn't look abandoned, more like just unoccupied, possibly ready for rent or sale. Too clean and tidy to be abandoned. Maybe you should let real estate agents know. Be careful you don't get done for breaking and entering.
Having money and a vision is cool. The problem with most of these, after you , it is not easy to find someone with the money to maintain your vision. I had a real estate coach that would speak on this.. The rich will let the property slide until the home is worthless, buy it for the land knock the old thing down and put up their thing. This is especially true if the new owners are using the property as a tax deduction.
My heart aches for that one, the bar and mini pavillion by the pool is a beaut! 50+ homes coming soon, gotta make room for all those "refugees".
