Wish I had the demeanor of this man. Seems like he has never raised his voice anytime while on this earth. I guess being around beautiful machines all day brings a calm over you.
Joey - you do amazing work. From a modified street car like this one to a record-setting Pikes Peak race car, all of the cars you build are a masterpiece in design and engineering.
Oh men.. i saw the title and thought "they put an electric engine into the car" "E-Motion" sounded like an electric brand. Thanks god this did not happen! - Wonderfull build u made here!
that is what I think a street legal cup car should be. just the ultimate of everything. the stance is dead nuts its absolutely one of the most sano gt3's I've ever seen. of course I'm more of a turbo cup guy like the red one but for a f-ing track weapons this is utterly perfect. its bonkers how much was actually done to this car. people think they are track cars from the drive out of the showroom. nope sorry this is weapons grade.....this is a track car. outstanding as usual Mr. Seeley. cheers
I absolutely love the shim idea of adjusting alignment. I have to constantly switch between track and street alignments between track days just so my cheap street tires last more than 1000 km. My car having thread style adjusters on the control/toe/camber arms is a pain to fiddle with.
Nice build... Customers like this are a joy to work with.. They let a great shop like e-motion express their potential. Also, finally, calipers that have internal fluid passages that move far more fluid than the run of the mill stuff you see. Hence the bolt together halves rather than the monoblocks. But for the money there are TBM brakes that patented the "internal fluid passages" and they may even be stiffer still.
I will have to a comparison test for questions like that. I can promise better performance and reliability with this kit over those brands. We swap a lot of those kits for this kit and the proof is in the lap times.
They are truly top of the food chain. However, they are owned by Porsche which means they have major restraints on what they will allow. This car has better dampers, more brakes, more power, and more aero versus the Manthey GT3 MR. If Manthey were unrestrained, they would absolutely build a more potent car.
Just listened to the smoking tire with emotion on it. You guys are anal in the best way. You said this had 100k in upgrades, is that installed at your shop? Also what did this sell for?
That isn't true. The cars we build are still a riot to drive on the street at slower speeds. Even if you aren't capable of pushing this car to 7/10ths or beyond you will still enjoy the ride quality, precision, and response. Predictability and confidence will make anyone have fun
Yes, I don’t deny that. But to the average person/weekend track driver the 991 3 is already that…not denying you guys went and turned up the juice to 11 but on the streets at responsible speeds it would be difficult to feel that difference…especially the wider track width, cup wing, splitter and upgraded brakes/rotors. Your builds are the stuff of Porsche-phile dreams. Keep up all the rad work.
I can’t help but second take every time I hear “e-motion engineering” and my first thought is your an EV swap type of outfit. Makes me sad, then I watch and am reminded your the furthest thing from that lol.
I don't understand what they are going for. There is no way the client can only afford one car if they can afford this car. If it was me I would've just bought a GT3rs. I'm thinking he just wanted something different something else on the road. I bet all his friends are asking why he didn't just get a GT3RS.
A majority of the weight is being held by the hoist. We use brake pressure and friction on the floor to prevent rotating the wheels while breaking them free. We've been doing this a very long time and worked closely with Porsche engineers in the highest level of Motorsport. They are actually very intelligent :)
No. We are tailoring the vehicle for a specific client for specific uses. Porsche builds these cars for a much wider demographic of ages, driving abilities, and intended uses.
Please make more videos like this showcasing the clients car that are allowed to be shown
that note about the muffler flowing with the diffuser is so interesting. never thought about it like that before. that’s what makes you guys great!!

One of the most tasteful and functional builds, amazing job. Definitely looking forward to see more.

Same lool
Good lord, that's a beautiful build.

Awesome video Joey! Love seeing the behind the scenes details and overview of a customer build. Hopefully we can do one on my car in the future!
I feel like I saw this car recently on PCH. Thank you for the overview. Very special car.
Very nice, very focused build no fluff
Incredible build and quality...
This is incredible work, congratulations to your team. Incredibly professional looking and an instant subscriber. Hope we get more like this!

I have E-Motion control arms on my 991.2 Carrera and they are fantastic pieces

There’s a reason you guys are the gold standard - this is it
Would love to see some broll up close at certian parts like the dampers or when joey opened the deck lid. Thanks!
beautiful build
epic stuff. share more.
In car shot had me like “Ben Affleck is doing Porsche Mods now?”
Haha! Haven't heard that one in a long time.
Very nice
A great build! Let me ask you, besides the headers, do you tune the ECU's? If so what tune if not, why not? Thanks!
We do. We use M-Engineering typically
What would be the advantage of running that KW kit vs something like MCS 3 ways that Dundon offers or JRZs?
I will have to a comparison test for questions like that. I can promise better performance and reliability with this kit over those brands. We swap a lot of those kits for this kit and the proof is in the lap times.
so glad you are doing these videos .... QQ - what headers are you using?
Beautiful 👍🇬🇧
SHOP TOUR?
See our shop tour on Larry Chen's channel.
I'd love to know the component costs.
The suspension package, the rear aero bits, the brake kit and the front strakes.
I can dream, right?

I love it. It’s perfect. 👌👏❤️
without being negative Manthey are the best at this by far.

and here i thought I didn't really like anything post 997
how is that rear wing not going to wobble when hitting the bumps
Engineered appropriately by Porsche Motorsport
Is that green car going to be in the next video?
Manthey Racing enters the Chat!
Needs a bigger wing
ROFLMAO
Love everything about it except the CF hood.
wow
This is porn. I’m currently enjoying a z3 coupe with some goodies. One day I’ll walk out to my 911
Just listened to the smoking tire with emotion on it. You guys are anal in the best way. You said this had 100k in upgrades, is that installed at your shop?

pretty
breaking centerlocks loose on the ground hmm, ig im doing it wrong
Track jewelry on a street car…most of the mods except the leather coverings won’t ever be appreciated unless 7/10 plus on a track.
That isn't true. The cars we build are still a riot to drive on the street at slower speeds. Even if you aren't capable of pushing this car to 7/10ths or beyond you will still enjoy the ride quality, precision, and response. Predictability and confidence will make anyone have fun

looks like someone is allergic to plastic lol
How much app for those mods ? Around 30k ???
Insane work guys ! More videos please
That would get you the suspension. This car had $100k in upgrades
Surface Transforms are the way to go -40lbs
The weight savings are great but the improved friction coefficient is more important.
So it doesn’t seem there are any benefits for having carbon ceramics over steels. A little lighter maybe?

Personalization, a manual transmission, and this will beat a stock GT3RS
This car has suspension, adjustability and comfort for the road which the RS has none of.
Per manual, loosen center nut with zero weight on the car. But what do those stupid engineers know?
A majority of the weight is being held by the hoist. We use brake pressure and friction on the floor to prevent rotating the wheels while breaking them free. We've been doing this a very long time and worked closely with Porsche engineers in the highest level of Motorsport. They are actually very intelligent :)
looks so good
So the people at E-Motion are better engineers than at Porsche?
No. We are tailoring the vehicle for a specific client for specific uses. Porsche builds these cars for a much wider demographic of ages, driving abilities, and intended uses.
@@emotion_engineering appreciate the response
Get a few more of those customers, and you may be able to afford a nice pair of pants.
