A high quality build. Two things I really like, 1) the fold up passenger seats, and 2) the lowering platform bed. Congrats to the Mountain Made Van team.
I totally agree. The only thing I didn’t see was adequate cupboards for clothing and shoes
Looks nice but the toilet and shower facilities are a no go for me

Great van build. Love the large windows & outdoor shower. After hearing about your experience with people trying to get into your van in South America appreciate the safety & security from intruders . Some parts of Canada restrict tents & soft campers due to bears. The way economy is more people are considering vans to prevent from becoming homeless.

Wonderful design. I particularly love the fold up seat - that's inspired, and of course the platform bed that just tucks into the roof during the day. Magic. I hope it gets snapped up straight away.

Just a stunning, clean van build. Front seat swivel is crucial to van life. Seating for 4 is great for families. I'd love to take this across the western hemisphere... with 4wd of course. Oh, when I did the math, your total solar on the roof is 550W (175x2 + 100x2).

Elegant, spacious, complete, a dream that only those who have traveled extensively in a van and know the real needs of vanlife could fulfill. The outdoor shower is intelligent, it avoids dirtying the interiors and with a suitable curtain it can become a valid alternative to the internal ones. Congratulations👍👌🥰👍👌🥰

💓💓💓 I love this van! I am with you on sleeping on the happy jack every night and just lifting it in the morning. You guys did a beautiful job! I love the all-electric systems. I DID see one thing that I loved in another van, the bottom of the cupboard above the sink was the bottom of the dish drainer, so you wash the dishes and stow them in the cupboard to dry. Heck, I'd love that in my condo!
I can't find the video, it's one of those van tour videos, but the guy who built it is brilliant! He designed a fold up shower! It drains along the wall side of the shower, so when your done, you just fold the shower pan up against the wall and fasten it. He was also designing a fold up sink to go on the outside of the folded shower pan. Sorry, I'm 70 and my memory isn't what it used to be, not that it ever was... That gentleman is a 100% homicide genius, however. I really doubt that creating a van like his is commercially feasible, but it's beautiful. It could be a box truck rather than a van. If I find it I will give you the name to search.

Very nice build. One thing I’d like to see on a van is the removal of pointed edge cabinets. If you’ve ever hit your head on one of these you would agree. How difficult would it be to round the sharp corners, edges and counter tops. Everything else is perfect
My overhead cupboards and bench tops are all rounded. Makes such a difference for sure as I am a full timer.
Those sharp cabinets edges are scary to look at.
I was afraid Trent would hurt him self waving his arms while explaining the features. Softening the corners would make the interior look so much more professionally built.

I've seen a lot of van builds, but this one is the best, by far. Every detail is well considered, appropriately designed, and professionally executed.
Straight out of the gate, you're showing the competition what the best of the best; aka, the creme de la creme should be. I think you're going to need a much larger shop and more employees.

I’m surprised you still have the composting toilet in the kitchen area, with the long wheel base personally I would have brought the sleeping area forward utilising the space of the composting toilet to rearrange things in the kitchen to make it smaller, then I think you would have room to have a small bathroom at the far end of the van compost loo on one side and shower on the other , I just can’t imagine taking a s%#t in the middle of my kitchen lol 😊👍😻🏴

Love the build. Love that it's all electric except for the heat. And, I love, love, love the bed.
I love it all! Except I would not build the Maxx Air fan above the bunk bed if you have one of those bunk beds in your own future van. Put the Max Air fan right in front of the entrance to both beds so that the fan is not blocked by the bunk bed if you are not using the top bunk bed.
My #1 feature would be an indoor shower. That is what I miss the most when camping for multiple days 😊. Beautiful build!

This build is a huge improvement over a previous one as you can actually look at mountains if there are any. With rounded edges on all cabinet doors to prevent banging in this tight space, it would actually be perfect.

Cons: 2 Storage compartments taken up with the yeti and the control panel stuff. I’d put Yeti in back under bench and control panel on the wall above the toilet so those cabinets could be used for storage.
Things that I think would make the van better
Put the power bank into the benches so there is more room for storing more frequently used items have space in the front
Make the back door white from the inside
Paint the black railings of the bed in white so it looks better
increase the space of the cubbyholes there’s enough room for it
Put the nets left off to two person bench so you could store phone bottle

Hi Trent and Allie, I have watched many of your videos, but I did not see this video until today, March 3, 2024. I did not realize that you have a company called Mountain Made Vans. I have watched videos of several other people who have fixed up and lived in a van. Eamon and Bec are the people that I know that you know. I have been jealous of all of you living in a van that you fixed up.

Love it! I did rent a home with black sink & it wasn't easy to keep, maybe because it was older but it never looked nice. That's all I'd change! 🙏💕🙏
That's so beautiful. I'm 67 and I'd love a van but everyone's discouraging me I have 97 dodge caravan needs work on the headlights it has 45,000 miles on it but it would be perfect for a build out and that hydraulic bed perfect mines got the 2 front seats a row of 2 seat bench then a 3 seat bench perfect size for me. I'm on a fixed income I have an 1800 generator and 2 solar panels for my glamping. You guys are doing such a great job Leo has grown so much a year old soon......WOW. I've been watching you guys since before Trent proposed to you ahhhh what a day that was. HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY LEO ✨️🎈🎁⚾️🎉🎊🎈✨️

With this model, you are out of the Wanderer niche, and into the full Camper Fan/Glamping up-market!! This would be perfect for, as you say, two couples, or a young family of 3 or 4. There might be a fight for the upper bunk though. 😉
Your interior colors and textures are harmonious, and consistent throughout, with a clean and sleek appearance, and a modern functionality. All the 'guts' of the essential systems are hidden away cleanly, for that 'no fuss, no muss' look. All your systems do appear to be easily accessible, just in case, or if the "tool guy" [person] of the family wants to know every 'nook and cranny'.
There is storage simply everywhere, always a necessity for clean and simple living or travelling! And, I absolutely love your solution with the beds; it's truly first-class! This model is absolutely ready for a full professional product brochure!!!

Camping in a van has never been a dream of mine. I did spend quite a bit of time camping with my friend in his dad's VW camper. Fun, but not ideal. Now I see this van and I am rethinking my idea of what it means to camp in a van. I'm totally blown away. Maybe vans aren't so bad after all...

That van is simply delicious! Wow! I think you guys need to build one for yourselves. I could totally see the two of you, Leo and the dogs going for a trip in that van. It is even more spacious than Pamela Vanderson because it doesn't have that big permanent bed in the back. With this new build, you not only get cushions and a big table that you can enjoy before it turns into a bed, but you even get another bed on top of that one. Brilliant!

I remember my grandfather had a green van very nice for the time and he built stuff to hold food and supplies for camping. It was a lot of fun and I grew up loving outdoors

Van looks fantastic. Especially the bed setup. Inwas expecting a shower similar to Eamon and Bec did in their last van when you were opening it up. But then many people don't prefer wasting that space for shower and instead shower elsewhere. Great outcome guys. Love it
