It was Holi of 2002, I accidentally reached Kamani Auditorium in Delhi and just out of curiosity I took tickets to his performance. With no idea if I am going to like classical music and a audience of 20-30, I intended to stay for 20-25 mins and started playing a game on my old Nokia... Within 15-20 mins (till I realised) the auditorium was jam packed as he arrived. Rest is history! I joined the long list of his crazy fans within 10 mins of his performance! It was one of the best days of my life. As I am typing I am getting goose bumps. Salute to the performer🙏

Masterpiece. Mesperising rendition and outstanding treatment of sitar. I am fan of Ustad Shujaat Khan for his soothing voice, style of presentation and sitar playing.
His rendition is just nectar to ears and peace of mind. But it gets ruined when his sweet sitar is overwhelmed by tanpura and tabla. This one is just smooth. Love you ustadji.
Listening to this masterpiece is like..growing.💖 When you finally feel like a grown up realising that why you can only understand and listen to sitar when you have some life experience. Enjoying this music i feel i have seen so much.. and yet there is so much to do in life, and still there is so much to it. I will grow beautiful and beyond 💞 the universe healed me indeed. I often wonder if this unique Artist sits and listen to his own songs and music? Is he inspired to make some of his songs a remix with added orchestration? I really believed that his productions are a class that is very difficult for the younger generation to attempt a remake especially femail ssingers. In my parents days of their lives probably 60 years ago this music and songs would have brought much joy and pleasure, just wished that I could see them listening and to watch the pleasure on their face s I haven't seen enough of my parents and this performance bring tears to my eyes and in my heart. I am 76 and still feel so alone without my parents. Thanks
