Good evening from Syracuse NY brother thank you for sharing your adventures
Thanks for watching!
You are welcome my friend
You made this look easy.
Great, thorough video. Thanks!
Hey there Skeet , you have demonstrated the perfect oil change. You did everything correct to the letter. I was looking at the foot pegs on your bike and it looks like you have the cleated foot pegs with rubber inserts. I myself prefer the cleats over the rubber inserts but it's your bike not mine. Keep'em coming you rock.
Pretty easy. Thanks Skeet
Engine oil capacity for that model is 0.7 US quarts after draining, 1 US quart after disassembly. You may have over filled it. The engine oil should be checked when the bike is on the center stand and fall in between the upper level and lower level marks. You will get an incorrect reading when the bike is on the side stand. Check the manual. If you are going to make an instruction video please pass on the correct info.
And you're supposed to take the side cover off and clean the internal screen the 22 does not have a filter but there is an internal screen that you have to clean for metal debris
I had a 1970 Honda 90 Trail. It was a blast. Fastest I could go down hill was 50, but boy did that engine wine. I put the optional gear on rear wheel and that bike could almost climb trees.
WOW @ 03:15! Nicely done, albeit with those JiuJitsu skills! 😊 Enjoy that machine. The Honda Oil is about the best to use. GN4 was all I ever used in my Hurricane 1000. Put a lot of miles on that bike! Peace
Good evening JJ2000
If I remember right, oil level is checked when the bike is upright on the wheels, not leaning on the kick stand. If it's full when leaning, then you have too much oil.
That's a cool machine, I'm a Honda guy, just put pipes on my VTX 1300. It's funny how your starter sounds just like my VTX's. thanks Skeet. BTW is the knife holding up? I stumbled across the video the other day and it made me wonder. Well take care
👍
Why she doesn't has oil filter ?
I just watched your oil change looks good but you forgot one step you're supposed to take the side cover off and inside there is an internal screen that collects metal debris on a 22 there is no oil filter but there is internal screen inside that your supposed to clean.
Great comment. I didn't forget to do that. I chose not to do that. It's the first oil change and I didn't think it was needed to do that yet. Thank you
A little TLC
my 2021 takes .739 quarts. so 3/4 quarts. or 70milliliters.
Nice bike. 😊
