- We're on the hunt for the rare Lamborghini tonight in Car Mechanic Simulator 2021. We may have to search a number of barns to find one, and may need to raid the junkyard for more barn maps too! If we can't find an Lamborghini we'll get our hands on something else fun to build...

Okay, I do watch your videos to fall asleep (not always ofc), but I'm very picky about my nightly sleep entertainment. The number one requirement is that it has to be interesting, otherwise my mind goes off into space and I never fall asleep lol.
It was great fun catching you live! Here is a little tip concerning the paint booth; if you go into that menu with the sliders (the rightmost one in the top bar), you can adjust the Metalness and such of the paint, and the lower you make that value, the lighter you make the hue of your paint color, with the value set all the way to 0 being just non-metallic gloss paint that is the actual hue of the color you initially selected. It helps a decent deal for keeping the color nice and bright when you go for chrome paint; it's the metal flake that darkens the color so much >^_^<
Also, definitely looking forward to the A-team mobile!
Ohh that’s helpful. So I can stop the chrome effect from always making the chosen color so dark.
@@CrypticFoxGaming Well, a lot less dark anyway, chroming paint will still darken it so you may also still need to use the other sliders to lighten the color saturation. But yeah, taking out the metalness does wonders for the brightness of the colors >^_^<
Plus, don't forget some of those really large junk piles in the junkyard actually have three separate parts to look through - that's where the barn maps are hiding sometimes when you can't find them in the other junk piles 😉
I'm late lol but how come when I change body panels to the black ones you get from the store and then respray the car to factory colour, the panel colours are mismatched. What am I doing wrong.
@@whitworthlime8793 Hey, any time is a good time when you have a question! The color mistmatch shouldn't happen, but it could be that the body panels you didn't replace are not at 100%. I would check the condition of the other body panels.

You need to put slicks for the tires so your cars don’t just spin out, with my custom lambo I got it up to 391 but was limited by the road distance lol
yeah different tires are a must when you crank up the power :)
I found the Lambo barn find on the first map but at the time I had not enough money to buy it. Was also during the first hour of playing the game as well so just went to the barn just to check out what it was and how it worked.
U need to get any dlc to that?

The first time i went to the junkyard at level 5 this car popped up for 17k and i only had 5k lol. I had no idea how improbable that is.
When he’s having a hard time with the rims/tires if you go up to the car and look at the car check list we’re you sell it and go to the first take when it shows the car pic it tells you the tire size needed
more than 1 config file usually implies various models, based on CMS18 file structure. So you'll probably find there is a base model version and a sportier version with a different engine etc in, so you want the config1 version as that will be the sportier/higher performance version.

How do you do it? Would be nice to tweak the car a bit, and introduce some real scrap cars into barns as I think this is help balance the game out

You can get mods on the PS4 for certain games. The Farming Simulator games have a huge modding community, what they don't allow are mods that have scripts included. These are the kind of mods where you can program autopilots and multiple vehicle mods.

I get the feeling the Junker Auction is less cars that have been sitting forever and just ones that are in bad condition/in accidents because I found a 1 star that everything was like sub 15% but everything was still there so I feel like it was a car someone just totaled in an accident so the auction put it up for cheap

Lambo is the biggest anti climax in the game the Clio V6 is a more fun build 😂🤷🏻♂️.. I wrote on the reviews that it really does get boring after level 25 not much else to do once you build a few of the dream cars. Really wish they would add a online community element to like let us show off our work, a car meet, a drag race, different race track etc.. don’t know if it’s just me but 🤷🏻♂️
Well at its core the whole game is really just fixing customer cars, or buying junkers to restore. Just boils down to teh cars you're doing more than anything, as the steps are all largely the same.
@@CrypticFoxGaming yeah definitely but you know yourself after 10-20 full rebuilds you’ve pretty much done the same. So I would like more dlc & expansion to online community even.
so, you've being trying to figure out how to get past the walls in the racing track/speed track, here's how. build a car, upgrade it insanely, make sure it atleast drives 350+, crash into the wall, you'll clip through, even doe there isn't much to discover, you'll just fall into the void

lol I was playing this game while listening, at level 31, 675k cash and everything unlocked.. I was doing barns and just found a lambo... no lie. I did find a jag supercar in the junkyard which turned out to give a LOT of cash. 200k+ profit.
yeah some of the cars can get you a lot at once. Especially if they're a modded car.
You can change where cars spawn in the editor that can be run directly from the launcher when you start the game, it's the second launch option.
Select the car you want, go to the "other" tab, and change the check marks. No need to rummage through game files.
Fair enough, though it was easy enough to edit the config :)
@@CrypticFoxGaming Yup, but using the editor is a lot easier still, and quicker esp. if you want to mod a bunch of files t a time.
On a side note, I found a Bizzarinni as the first car I saw in the junk yard after I changed the setting :)

If I would like to change it in the config, is that were the folders with the car names are? I changed the values with the useable engines for a car there but that did not work.
@@johnconnor3993 Yep that's normally where you change them. I haven't tried changing the useable engines though so I'm not certain how that works.

You get barn maps from the loot boxes and from junk piles at the junkyard (just one per visit at junkyard though I think)

Each barn you go to will have one you can buy if you find it. Otherwise you get them by completing orders :)
I’m level 12 today I did my first barn visit and the lambo was there but I was way too short on cash to buy it for 55k

Just my opinion here, but I've always been of the belief that there's no such thing as "cheating" in a 1 player game (as long as it's not being played competitively). In order to cheat, someone has to be cheated; where there is no victim, there is no crime.
