Therm-O-Type Industrial SFM Sheet-Fed Hot Foil Stamping Press - Inventory

This Therm-O-Type SFM Sheet Fed Foil Stamping Press has been tested and is in good working condition. Upgrade modifications to this machine include the ability to regulate foil pressure pneumatically rather than mechanically as in a standard SFM. This results in improved foil tension control. The die chase locking has also been upgraded from mechanical to pneumatic control. An easy change slider rail is installed for easier setup and positioning of the chase. Another non-standard feature is the makeready plate 'platen detection' which will prevent the machine from running if a makeready plate is installed incorrectly, preventing damage. A service bypass key is provided to disable platen detection when performing maintenance that requires running the machine without a makeready plate.
A brand new chase for 1/4" dies is included, along with 2" and 4" Better (Bunter) Posts and wrenches (for die mounting). Manual is also included. This machine is setup for Flat Hot Foil Stamping with standard non-holographic film. Other machine capabilities (die cutting, numbering, embossing, holographic film) described below require additional parts which are not included.
