Lovely, lovely; LOVELY! Jamaica; you are on your way to prosperity! From Ship repair yard to upgraded port for more commerce, other stuff as well; this country will be, as said, further prosperous! The quality of life is going to improve for the people with all this income the country is poised to bring in.
Check out the proposed picture, look to your extreme left, down see the white building? I was thinking it would be there, but the area seems small for a 1,100 room hotel.
@@droneviewja Google Hard Rock Jamaica and click on the Getopenwater link and you will see what it was supposed to look like. The origianl plan was to build that directly west of Iberostar on that narrow strip. It would be tall and slender. However, I heard they change the location to west of Unico but there has been no confirmation of that. The way the original was designed it would be 1,100 rooms and it looked amazing. I am still hoping they will build or use that site to build another one of their new brands call Ava Resorts. They are close to completing the first Ava in Cancun. So many Hotels construction in Jamaica, but barely creating any factories to Advance the manufacturing sector everyone always seems to be happy to see see these developments, but seem to be unaware that these projects will mostly benefit foreign investors who will take back majority of the profits back home.
Factories do the same thing. Hotel profit to operations cost is ver low profit. The country can benefit off supply chain. We just have to take the opertunity other foreigners will.
The Jamaican government is not the ones building these hotel, investors are. These hotel development have nothing to do with financial incentives to achieve growth, that's for a different topic.
@@droneviewja I Know you merely read my comment. I previously stated these developments will only benefit foreign investors, because i'm am aware that they are funding these projects. But knowing the Jamaica government they will make bad deals with these foreigners because they are eager for foreign investment.

It’s 3 hotels supposed to build on that stretch right beside each other. Unico, Hard Rock and the return of Ritz Cartlon
