Hello dear. Just wanted to add an information, rather an explanation. Sheikh Mujibur Rahman did introduce the Freedom fighter quota. But it was not something permanent. After the independence of Bangladesh when the new government was formed. They needed a lot of man power to run this newly formed and war affected nation. So, for the recruitments of that year, in 1972, through an interim order issued by the Ministry of Cabinet Services, the quota system for BCS was introduced. Sheikh Mujibor Rahman was in power until 15th August 1975. If he had any permanent plan on keeping this quota, he definitely would have turned it into a law passed by parliament. Or when in 1972, our constitution was formed, he would have proposed inserting an article into it reserving the quota for freedom fighters, children, and grandchildren. Nothing as such was done meanwhile. Because it was an interim plan to keep that quota for that time. The video is very well explained 🩵

Reservation is like a walking stick used to reach different places, for people who were deprived of helicopter services (which indirectly means taking people who lacked opportunities to the positions where they can set example for rest of the community and motivate them) but this need to be limited to few generations only because giving reservation benefit to 5-6 generations definitely means that now they are not deprived anymore. And thus they must be considered in main stream then. As far as other people who truly need upliftment are concerned then they will truly get reservation's benefit. Initially, the protest in 2018 was about quota demolishing protest, and the protest that happened in july month of this year also was about quota demolishing protest led by students as supreme court wanted to bring the quota back..but after protest court agreed with students and reformed the quota system but till then a lot of students died in this protest because of student wing led by the former govt, police and military and in all these chaos 3rd party used the opportunity by titillating the students against the govt. and students were also ok with it as we wanted justice by removing the former government. This is actually a quarter of the truth. This is the so called reason stated for the student protests and now it is very much evident that this is no more a student protest. And Haseena's last statement in which she said that she would not have had to leave Bangladesh desh if she had listened to US clearly shows that the unrest is caused by US as US wanted to have it's base in St. Martin's Island which was denied by Haseeena because that would cause a security threat to the entire South East Asia
