Brother, I’m happy you referenced the chair story I shared. And I was glad when Pst. Adeboye himself confirmed it in the short cut you shared. That chair thing happened a few times (I meant a few years, at least twice since he came ones a year). Once was in OAU amphitheater, the second was the one in the open field where it rained which was the one pastor Adeboye referenced. Thanks for your work, bro.

I want to share an experience with Pastor E.A Adeboye here.
I am a member of the RCCG mass choir. In preparation for our special programs like Congress or Convention, we usually rehearse for like 2 months and to cap it Daddy G.O will come listen to all the songs make corrections/ contributions and pray for us.
On one of these occasions, we gathered for G.O's rehearsals and while he was praying for us at the end of our rehearsals with him. A man who had been bedridden for God knows how long ( because there are usually people who come to the camp ground for personal prayers), he stood up and started screaming . He was healed even before the convention 😮. He had a bag of his medication in his hands .
During the convention, he came forward for testimony.
George, God is mysterious and so are His ways. He cannot be boxed to say this is how he will work.
I know there are fake miracles out there but does it stop the real. If there's no original there won't be fake.
You are doing good work however let's propagate good gospel more.
    God bless you!

My late mother-in -law prayed so much the building started vibrating. The landlord was terribly unhappy and complained bitterly about her frequent night prayer that vibrates his house. This is a true story. She was a woman of prayer.
It's only a fool who would not believe in the power of the Holy Spirit to move in any direction He wants. The early church experienced similar things in the book of Acts.

    • @Psalm136_bit
      @Psalm136_bit 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

The power of the Holy Spirit is undeniable by itself.
But preaching about the spiritual experiences of dead men is NOT preaching, neither is it even a form of Christian pastoral practice.
When people do not know Jesus but are given an opportunity to the pulpit, all they are going to talk about is stories of dead men.
They have no excitement of revealing Christ neither do they have word for him.
Such is the situation with the “Gods general” deception and the plight of those who subscribe to it.
It is Jesus we read about in the bible, it is he we know, long to know and believe in, it is he we learn to walk after.
      NOT DEAD MEN!!!

But He calls Himself the God of Abraham, Isaac & Jacob. Elisha said "where is the Lord God of Elijah?".
Any testimony of God's acts shared for the purpose of Gospel propagation and faith building is very well in order. It simply saying the God of past is the same even in the present situation and able to do whatever He had done in the time of such people.
Christians should resist the urge to comment on every issue esp on the social media. Resist the urge to prove..... Its not a good sign of spiritual maturity

    • @Psalm136_bit
      @Psalm136_bit 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@eslekelectricalscompany9619 you are Correct!
But we want to know Christ, and the power of his resurrection and the fellowship of his suffering. We don’t want to know anything else. Spending a whole sermon preaching about men is not a Christian practice. Revealing the person of Jesus Christ and feeding the sheep with this knowledge as bread and wine in fellowship, submitting to suffering, persecution and even death for his sake, and doing so in remembrance of him. This is true communion whereby the death of Jesus is made manifest in our bodies that we may be transformed to be like him in glory when he returns!
Making the ultimate sacrifice of self by faith and manifesting the true love of God, this is true Christianity.
The fruit of the believer is godly love and not miracles, no one will enter heaven merely for having signs and wonders experiences.
But he that bears the fruit of love will surely see Gods face!
Indeed by their fruit you shall know them.
African “church” leaders, and the new deception. The “Gods Generals” deception. Test their fruit, they have none, but they have stories of miracles that happened in other peoples lives. And they themselves have neither fruit nor real miracles! This is a pure continuation tactic of fraud and deception and they are all doing it!
There is nothing wrong with testimonies, but when stories of miracles past takes the place of the revelation of Jesus, this is a problem. The Victory of Jesus is something that is constant and present being made manifest in our lives everyday. It is not a thing constantly spoken of in the past if you are doing so in bondage. And even the prophets of old spoke of things that were to come, which in itself was a miracles. They did not swap their message for things that were done in the past. Wake up!
Spend one whole hour talking fruitlessly about dead men as no one is falling for prosperity lies anymore.
      Pray for these people!
They gather and tell people stories about all these people who have died. Describing what they did!
      “Oh! They healed 2000 everyday”
“Oh there this man this and that”.
Oh! African Church leader what did these “Gods Generals” Preach about?
Did they gather their flock to gossip about those who had come before them?
Or did they talk about Jesus, pray to Jesus and live for Jesus all of their lives.
May we be moved by Jesus alone and not by books and the lives of mere men.

But the hotel story is true and evidence dey. The hotel was indeed closed for unknown structural damage and reopened over 20 years later.
It's called the Mayo Hotel Tulsa, Alabama. Check it out, check the timeliness and the Canadian man who was their guide and was present is still alive and talks about it.
No one has mentioned the name of the hotel before, but this is a product of my own small investigation when I first heard the story. Maybe check it out?

There's a reason why things are happening the way they are. Our destinies are crossing each other. Part of some people's destiny is to follow other people either blindly or openly, folishly or wisely, rightly or wrongly, knowingly or unknowingly, etc. Nothing anyone can do about it. It's been like that since the creation of man and still is. The Creator didn't do anything about it. What then can a man do. So live, leave & let others live. We're just here temporary. There's a permanent place awaiting you.

Yes, I believe the FERVENT prayers of a RIGHTEOUS man are very powerful and availeth much.
Such prayers can surely shake buildings etc, BUT more often than not, such shakings occur in the spiritual realm, and effects of the shakings are not physically seen. But the devil, demons and witches etc feel the impact of such spiritual shakings.
BECAUSE if it is the physical shaking of the buildings that determine the fervency of the prayers, then Baba that caused such a shaking in a hotel in America should have had all the houses he has lived in fall down in rubbles by now.
Maybe it happened as a one time event in America for God to prove a point to those in the environment, but some will hear this testimony now and run with it, expecting it as the NORM by which we should test the efficacy of our prayers.
The Bible says when we pray in sincerity and with fervency with pure hearts, and right living, GOD HEARS US.
THAT SIMPLE PROMISE SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO REST OUR FAITH UPON, THE BUILDING DOES NOT HAVE TO SHAKE.
Peace & Blessings to all ❤

If Jesus were to be in this generation, people will criticize , disbelieve and doubt those miracles he performed because turning water to wine is beyond human understanding, cursing the fig tree and even walking on water. The online bloggers would have made a lot from His life because they will have many things to criticize. Every bloggers have found niche in Christianity because that's what brings views. The issue is that those who are being criticized are too focus on what they are doing, carefully running their race while the online faceless people keep analyzing their lives.

There’s an interpretation of the situation in African Churches that makes sense. The veneration of Saints, as a practice, is distinct because it provokes the idea that the Saints have something that Jesus does not have/will not give and you should go to them for it.
You can well interpret their behaviour in African churches as worship and idolatry but it is distinct because even in such ridiculous looking cases, it is still their faith at work. At the foundation, they believe God deposited something on a man which they can tap from through acknowledging this fact.
In the Bible Apostle Paul’s shadow was healing people, if you saw people diving into his shadow you would also say it’s idolatry but they would receive healing through faith.
Even though it’s possible for the same people to get healing from God directly, it’s also possible for it to happen this way.
I pray the Lord will help us in the name of Jesus

This is not a complete understanding of the issue at hand and if you want, you can limit your own understanding.
All healings and miracles come from God and God often chooses to use his servants to exercise power on his behalf instead of doing it himself. If you recognise a man is a servant of God and you sincerely believe that God sent him, you may behave in a way people will call idolatrous.
It’s not about the man himself, it’s about what God has sent the man to do and what God had equipped that man to do.
I pray God will open your understanding.

    humans have a fatal tendency
to try to adjust the truth to fit our desires rather than adjusting our
desires to fit the truth. It's heartbreaking when you see these men of God preach about men and not God for their gain 😢.

Follow me as I follow christ.
What does he have to gain by sharing adeboyes testimony. But to tell people that the great works are still being done.
He too is aspiring what is wrong with that.
Have you ever seen a miracle?
