As per John 1:18, the new testament was written in greek. The word "seen" there is from the greek word "horao" which means to see with the eyes and also with the mind. In other words, what it means in that verse is to comprehend fully or understand. Many men saw God with their eyes in the bible but only Christ has experienced God in the fullness of the Holy Spirit... Hallelujah
To see the Holy Spirit as a dove 🕊️ or as tongues of fire 🔥 does not mean the Holy Spirit is a Dove or Tongues of fire but you can say you saw the Holy Spirit if you explained your experience to someone.
The Bible is clear on the nature of God and if he takes a tangible form to fit into your imaginative vocabulary it does not mean he is that… you can’t say God is the pillar of fire and cloud in the Old Testament but he manifested as such.
For a fact , God has a face as stated in exodus 33. I see many quoting Exodus 24:10 but forget that Exodus 33:20 comes after that and God spoke to Moses . If Moses could not see the face of God and live that means he never saw it even on Exodus 24.
Did you know that the said people you claim saw God in as stated in Exodus 24:10 were permitted to worship FROM A AFAR (start from Exodus 24:1-2 ) and only Moses went close . Yet God told Moses He can’t see his face in a later chapter . Between Moses and the Men who saw God better ? Think 💭. That saw a form of God but not his face . Remember the earth is his foot stool now ask yourself what did Exodus 24:10 say they saw? The Bible explains itself.
To see someone implies RECOGNITION and your eyes cannot recognize what your mind is not informed about. If you saw Jesus today you will RECOGNIZE him because you know him as the image of the invisible God. That’s why Jesus IS…
@@BeingRealGeorgelet's use the same passage Abel used, Abraham met with God in the form of men and he prepared a meal and dined together with them.
The thing is if someone claims to see God in a certain form, that's the person's personal experience so honestly what Abel is saying about the tea thing is to seek attention and sure he is getting it.
The Israelites were led by a pillar of fire and cloud so we can't say they saw God.
Elijah was able to distinguish between God's angel and God's presence even without seeing God so it's not until you see God before recognizing God.
God appears in different forms to people so if someone says He has seen God in a certain form, that's between him and his God, it's not for Abel to come and tell us what is not.
If God reveals himself to you in a certain form, you too have seen God.
Hallelujah!
"I have felt the presence of God" doesn't equate to "I have seen God". No Man has seen God even the spirits (most of them have not and cannot see Their Creator). For if you see Him, you will surely die.
@@ayodeji.s.adeyemo unschooled fellow. Go study Acts 7:35, 53, Heb 2:1.
Maybe you know the Bible better than Jesus Himself. 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣
I believe what Dr Abel Damina is saying. I'm not one of his members but I see where he is coming from especially when he backs up most of his statements and answers with scriptures.
No one has the right to question what anyone experienced with God.
It's their experience whether it's fake or true
every bonafide child of God has the right to question and contend for God's truth. You are commanded in scriptures to contend for the truth, people's eternity depend on this, wickedness is what will make a person not speak up
Actually, the word of God being our compass makes that we have to run every encounter and experience through the word of God to see it survives.
Scriptures literally say "TEST ALL SPIRITS..."
God is not afraid to be brought "under the magnifying glass" as long as that glass is the word of God.
So we really can question it but calling people names like "short man from Uyo is plain pathetic".
By the way, I really totally believe what Pastor Adeboye said and I agree only to a point with Abel Damina.
@@LifeonGodzTerms and is this how to contend for the truth? A pastor is attacking a fellow pastor saying he is lying about his experience with God. You are talking about contending for truth you should also talk against a pastor attacking another pastor online. Do you ever hear an imam or speak against another fellow Imam? So why do we find this in the body of Christ. The bible also says we should correct one another in love saying the truth to one another in love
@@LifeonGodzTerms You put God in a box doing that
It's possible that the tea disappeared through God's power, just to show him and his wife that HIS (GOD) presence was there with them. My roof started leaking last year 2023 January, I told my agent and my landlord, they sent a carpenter but I wasn't comfortable with the guy, I requested for me to get my own carpenter, the agent refused, and also biased my landlord, he refused to repair it, I was not owing rent o, I cried inwardly, I didn't pray o, but God showed up, the roof never leaked again till date, the working materials are still there rusting.
God is God. HIS ways are not our ways.
Human experience is not a determinate factor of right positioning of the word of God. The Bible is clear enough to explain itself.
The ALMIGHTY GOD (YHVH, Jehovah El-Shaddai, The All-sufficient God), does not embark on activities that amount to a pointless display of power. It will take a "willful suspension of disbelief" for anyone to concede that The All-Sufficient God drank tea (or that HE desires to receive anything from this material world). If your god is amadioha or any of the Yoruba pantheons (oshun, sango, obatala, etc.) he might be thirsty and be in need of tea from Adeboye, or from you. The simple question that I have for you is this: To what end would it be for YHVH to drink a cup of tea or cause a cup tea to evaporate - an act ostensibly witnessed by Only Enoch Adejare Adeboye and Foluke Adeboye (Enoch Adeboye's wife)? Was He (GOD) just trying to prove that he can make a cup of tea evaporate? Make it make sense to me! My advice to you: Study your Bible and ask God for the Spirit of discernment so you can differentiate the truth from stories that should be jettisoned overboard( such as this one).
😂😅

God doesn't necessarily need to drink tea for it to disappear. That was a personal experience of God trying to communicate to his son the joy of fellowship. It is not a doctrinal issue, It is a personal issue. We are missing the message of the tea, and delving into unprofitable issues.
I love your submission here, but if I may ask,
What could have been the reason for Pastor Adeboye telling the story, like what message exactly was he trying to pass across with that story
@@vitusmowete2841 The message about God valuing his relationship with us. He could as simple as respond to our invitation to eat with him.

Many people have many experiences with God. And if you have had experience with God before you won't doubt anyone's experience. Bless you.
Exactly
Wise words from Pastor Adeboye. Good bless you sir.
Abel acknowledged that Jesus is still man till today, so if Jesus appear to me he can drink my tea if he wishes. We know that Jesus is our father and the father of Adeboye too. So Adeboye invited his father Jesus and his Father Jesus came and drank his tea with him. Spiritual experiences are best explained by those who experienced them. Those who feel they know so much most time don't know much. The sandhedrin, the Pharisees, the scribes felt they know something about God but till today they don't know Jesus.
All lies I don't care what people say.
Whenever lies are exposed, those who expose them are called Pharisees and yet what pastor Adeboye said isn't written about anywhere in the Bible. Some time back a certain pastor called God the Father androgynous and said that because he is neither male nor female that's why He created humans, male and female because of His androgynous nature. I am sure that if pastor Damina or anybody else had challenged this with scriptures you would have called them a Pharisee. Saying people can't understand things of the spirit to defend false doctrines is ridiculous. No wonder so many people are deceived in the name of, things of the spirit are difficult to understand.
Any thing that is not scriptural is not spiritual.
Boss, tell me what's the importance of God drink is or eat with humans. Let me just let you know that the man was preaching himself not about exhorting anyone but feeding the greediness of his hearers
@@dejiade49 . Someone is brave. Thank you sir. God is a spirit so how come?
Hallelujah ooo😊😅😅..good job my dear brother 👏 . One thing I've come to realize in 51 years is that spiritual things will never be understood, no matter how much you try to explain it. In 2006, I had a fibroid op @ Island Mat. Hosp. The instruction was no drinking water not even a drop on the day of the surgery, but I ignored and brushed my teeth and even took sips of water to clear my throat. Alas! @ 2am post surgery when the nurses had shutdown for the night, i started choking and coughing seriously, water was going into my lungs and no way to get up or turn my body. I started praying in my heart and calling on Jesus for help. Behold, I felt a hand lift up my head, turn it sideways and I vomited all the water. The hand stroked my forehead as if saying 'don't worry I gat you yinka, I am here' I slept off and in the morning I asked the nurses if anyone came to my rescue so I can thank the person. Guess what?? They said no one was awake or even came close to the ward, no doctor or nurse was available at that hour!!! Hmmmm...God is real, Jesus is alive and He does as he pleases. You can't box, unbox, explain or know Him or his ways completely! I am alive today because of that divine help i got that night. I was completely helpless and saying Lord, please I don't want to die, my hasn't enjoy her labor over me, save me pleaseee. Incidentally, my big sis had a dream about me choking that same night, and she prayed for me. She said had i had my phone with me she would have called. how do you explain that? How???
Frankly having listened to a few of. Damina's teaching recently I believe true Christians should be careful of his "twistical" teachings. Just nonsense criticism no substance.
Hmmnnn... God is good! Jesus is real! His ways are beyond our wildest imaginations!
Glory to His Name 👋 🎉
I believe that God has all power for any miracle, however signs and wonders should never define God, God is beyond that; the miracle y’all should build on is in Ephesians 2:8-9, For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God- 9 not by works, so that no one can boast… that the real miracle 👆🏾
If there is one thing I have experience with God, is His sense of humour. I believe that was what happened in the tea situation.
Smh could it all be in your mind? You think God has time to be playing games when millions of Christians are being persecuted. God is drinking tea with you and is not telling you to help those Christians

What happens to signs and wonders? Pastor Adeboye clearly stated that he heard the voice saying “when you prayed, you invited me” not I drank with you. God may have made the extra cup diminish from the pot so that his servant will take cognisance of his presence in order to initiate that conversation at least he didn’t say the voice said I drank the last cup. Why are we not thinking that the missing cup is a sign of his presence rather than an avenue for unnecessary bible interpretation/study meanwhile, that was his experience just like Moses with the burning bush and clearly if that wasn’t in the bible and one pastor said he had that experience will we start another bible session over that when even Moses could not prove how that happened ?
Let’s relax and pray to God for his guidance and interpretation as he shows us our own sign just like the chariot of fire would you believe if someone said that as well!
Please everyone should rest and go align with God simple!!!!!
God bless you
He only shared his personal experience with God.Preachers should learn to stick to the preaching of the Word, not criticizing unnecessarily.
Adeboye is a God's General
Again, I had another encounter with Jesus two weeks after discharge from the hospital. I was home recuperating, I just finished worshipping him around noon, I slept off and saw myself in a dream carrying a heavy load on my head. I was climbing a very long staircase, at a point I became very tired and wondering why I had this 'burden' on my head which was slowing me down. Right on the staircase I saw a Tall Man in snow white outfit blocking my way, I didn't even measure up to his knee, couldn't see his face, he asked me what I was carrying and I started mumbling something intelligible. He lifted the load off from my head and asked to keep going. I really wanted to look at him but I could not see his waist😂 talk less of his face. Then I woke up, gosh!! I realized I just had a deliverance from only God knows what. All I know is God takes a special interest in a Man or Woman who is ready to walk with him. I will NEVER forget these 2 encounters, they helped broaden my understanding that life is spiritual and deep. Shalom❤
You didn't see his face. No man has seen God's face and live. If we believe the Bible as Christians we should stop trying to untranslate or change precepts given to us by the Bible left to guide us. You CANNOT SEE GOD Creator of the Universe IN THE FLESH .
Any vision is representative.
The closest was John in Revelation..beholding Jesus in his celestial form...and John died looking at him, his spirit left him...but Jesus returned his soul and asked him to "write"...
That's the closest...if we believe let's believe and stop contorting things.
I have learnt a long time ago that any experience you don't have Scripture for don't share
This comment is topnotch

Absolutely true
It is scriptural, in Genesis 18:1-8 God and two Angels visited Abraham before going to destroy Sodom and Gomorrah and Abraham prepared them meal; water, Milk, butter three calves (Goats) and cake and God and the two Angels ate.
This is correct, but there's no scripture against this experience at all. It was a sign to pass a message to him not for God to be nourished
Greetings. You did emphasize that Pastor Aeboye never said he saw God. What he said was that the remainder tea had finished, and he heard the voice of God that said, but he invited him to the tea. Meaning God took it. He did not say steal it. He did not even say God drank the tea. God could have easily commanded the tea to dry up as a sign that he answered his prayer and had fellowship with him. God longs to have fellowship with us Christians. What is the big deal about that. Why is that too great a thing for God to do. Did he not dry theRed Seaa for the Israelites to pass and Jordan. What is the big deal of commanding tea to dry up to express his love and fellowship with his servant?
My understanding of the resurrection of Jesus is that he resurrected with a spiritual body. Immortality swallowed up mortality by HIS resurrection. There is nowhere in the scriptures where it was said he eventually put on immortality after his resurrection. It happened at the point of his resurrection. Jesus said he would take the fruit of the vine with us after HIS second coming. In heaven, we shall eat and drink from the tree of life and from the stream flowing in heaven.
The truth is that many times, we Christians major on the minor and minor on the major. Pastor Abina spent valuable time bashing a fellow servant of God rather than the devil over nothing! Inadvertently assisting the devil trying to bring down the man of God. If it was heresy, I would understand that he needed to be exposed. But for nothing as I see it, it is uncharitable.
I conclude by saying let everyone be fully persuaded.
It is well.
Jesus is LORD!!!

Ok let’s go with the explanation that Adeboye didn’t say “God drank tea.”
1. Pastor Adeboye did not say “God drank tea.”
2. Pastor Damina did not say “Pastor Adeboye and God drank tea.”
3. Pastor Damina said “if any man said he drank tea with God, it’s a lie.”
4. So why are people so defensive and angry?
5. They are angry because they understood Adeboye to infer that God drank tea.
6. Why did Adeboye even feel the need to respond to Damina when Adeboye was NEVER accused of drinking tea with God, unless that’s what Adeboye intended people to think. If that was not his intent, then why did Adeboye support his tea drinking story with the story of Jesus eating and drinking with his disciples?

During my NYSC days, I spent a lot travelling to attend church leadership meeting at the capital of Kebbi State. I was calculating what I spent and the balance.
I erroneously added a last zero to the balance of the 7500 allowance and God spoke to me that it was not a mistake.
I believed it and I am blessed. I had supernatural breakthroughs that even unbelievers said "I am connected" when they heard saw how God promoted me during the NYSC.
Just this Sunday something else happened. Someone was not around and we were walking to get a vehicle to move us to our location. Three different men in different bike stopped and greeted us and offered to take us to our bus stop.

A house divided against itself can not stand. If they are all working for Christ and salvation of men...they should focus on the word and the salvation of men.
I pray God give' us all understanding.. .There is no understanding God's word without the help of the HOLY spirit...
Reading the scriptures without the inspiration of the Holy Ghost will all time be fruitless. One, we must remember that this is the world of men and for anyone or anything to operate legally in it, you must have a material body, God came to earth several times in the OT in this material body but never in His infinite glory.. No mortal eye can behold Him in His glory. Jesus had to wear this body to operate legally on earth. YES, like God did in time past, He can appear on earth with material body but not in His glory because He's an unapproachable light. Shalom.

We must be limited to the revelation of resurrected Christ.
Drinking tea with God should not be a conservation among Christians.
We must be limited to the revelation of God's word anchored solely on the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary and subsequent resurrection.
Pastor Adebayo should make his conversation limited to the revelation of God's word.
He has always been on God told me etc.
He has dwelt on that unnecessarily too long that it's becoming a distraction and mockery to the Christian faith and ministry.
The older Christians in the likes of Adebayo should know that the present day Christian are different because we are reading the Bible for ourselves only in the light of resurrected Christ.
Pastor Adebayo must accept that Christian has moved on to absolutely only on the revelation of resurrected Christ.
The time of manipulations of the body of Christ is over.

God is sovereign and he does as he pleases so noone can question him. He choose to relate with individual differently. If God had tea with Daddy, that explains the relationship he had with him. Abel Damina speaks alot of heresy. Unfortunately people who dont know the scriptures will naturally be swaved by his heresies.
If Pst. Adeboye says God drank from his cup of Tea, was Damina There to disprove it. There are many scriptures that showed God apparition in the old testament, one prominent one ws Exo 24:10-11
EX. 24:10 and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself.
EX. 24:11 Yet He did not stretch out His hand against the nobles of the sons of Israel; and they saw God, and they ate and drank.
Note only Moses saw God, the elders did two, and they could discribe him, they also ate and drank with him.
Damina said it was angels that dined with Abraham and not God. Lets assume he is right. The quesiton there is How could angels dine with Abraham when they are spirit beings. The same issue he has with Pst. Adeboye dining with God.
Damina says Only Jesus is a man and that was why he was able to eat. Maybe he as forgotten that when we refer to God in this realm, we actually refer to Jesus who is the image of the invicible God Col 1:15. In whom dwell the fullness of God bodily (Col 2:9). Indeed when someone has seen Jesus, he as seen the Father . John 14:8-9 Phillip asked that Jesus should show him the Father and Jesus told him ".. if you have seen me, you have seen the Father". God manifest in this realm as Jesus and the Holy Spirit. When a man says God spoke to me, he means the Holy spirit. when he says I saw God - he means Jesus.
Limiting God to your human knowledge is myopic and a show of low IQ. If God cannot drink tea, how did God inpregnate Mary to concieve Jesus. Impregnating a woman is a physical activity that spirits (according to Damina) cannot do. In Luke 1:34-35 Mary doubted how she can get pregnant without a physical contact and the angel told her "vs35 The Holy Spirit will come on you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you..." In other word, the Holy Spirit will impregnate you - does that make any human sense? well it doesn't. Spiritual things are foolishness to the natural man because they are spiritually decerned. Anyways, the bible is just trying to let us know it is foolishness to limit God and say he cannot be or do something- nothing is impossible for him.
Abel Damina as found a way to keep putting himself in relevance - criticsing the church and leading many astray - he wants to continue to be in the news to gain some form of relevance. Let him continue - we will see were he ends.
@brganalysis @beingrealgeorge you should bring this discurse to the table, lets here peoples view.

2. Pastor Damina did not say “Pastor Adeboye and God drank tea.”
3. Pastor Damina said “if any man said he drank tea with God, it’s a lie.”

6. Why did Adeboye even feel the need to respond to Damina when Adeboye was NEVER accused of drinking tea with God, unless that’s what Adeboye intended people to think. My believe is that Christianity is meant to be a "spiritual exercise" but a lot of people have left the spiritual part of Christianity to turn it to an ordinary religion or "academic exercise " thereby just reading, cramming the bible and then seeing themselves as authorities. If only they will realize that Christianity is spiritual and not just academic exercise nor an ordinary religion. Think deep about it.
I always love your analysis. Keep up the good work and don’t mind the haters. Much love.
It's not impossible for a child of God to have tea with God
Prove it scripturally
@@divinegreat2552 God and two angels ate with Abraham
Brother whether he had tea or not is of no benefit to you but it benefits him as he gives everyone the impression that he is holier than everyonelse so everyone will continue to focus of the man Adeboye! I am interested in Jesus, tell me about Jesus, I'm not interested in you as you're a man!
The church should focus everyone on Jesus and not on a man! I can talk and access my Jesus directly, I don't need a man .Its only a Christian without faith that needs all this focus on a man and all
In Genesis 18 God appeared to Abraham by the terebinth tree. The bible said that three men appeared to him. Two went to Sodom to destroy it while one remained with him while he(Abraham) was trying to negotiate with him (God) about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah. I Genesis 18:33 after the negotiation one one among the three who negotiated with him left him and the bible has the following to say about whom Abraham was negotiating with " So the Lord went his way as soon as he had finished speaking with Abraham...." Genesis 18: 33.
In Genesis 19. The two who came with God were spoken about.
" Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening....." Genesis 19:1
So God appeared to Abraham in company of two angels.
In Hebrews 1: 7 the bible has this to say about angles.
" And of the angels He (God) says:
Who makes his angels spirits
And his ministers a flame of fire.
So God is not only the one that is spirit, angels are also spirits: why is he ( Dr Damina not concerned with angels as spirits eating with Abraham but God has spirit eating with God .
God is a spirit and there are portions in the bible where he took on the form of man to encounter men. There is a difference between taken the form of a man and coming as a man, with Abraham he took the form of a man, in Christ he came as a man; Flesh and blood. If you read the story of the men that came to Sodom you will notice that, though they took the form of men, there still have the ability of making all the men of Sodom blind at lots door post; proving that this men only came in a form that men can see them without trembling.
He( Dr Damina) also mentioned the scripture in John that says no man have seen God but, his son Jesus Christ has made him known.
No man have seen God do not mean no body have seen God in a form of a man, as fire etc before. It means God has never appeared to men in the fullness of who he is as expressed by Jesus
The following scriptures explains these point.
2 Cor 3: 15 - 18
"But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord (Jesus) the veil is taken away.
Now the Lord is that spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord (Jesus), are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory....
Hebrews 1:1-3
" God, who at various times and in various *manners* spoke in time past to the father's by the prophets
has in this last days spoken to us by his Son(Jesus), whom he has appointed heir of all things, through whom also he made the worlds;
Who being the brightness of his glory and express of his person..."
So in Jesus we can now say:
No man as seen God at anytime but Jesus who is the brightness of is glory and the express image of his person has made him known.
You're typing too much. Simple thing is for angels to even have eaten with Abraham they have to out on physical form. So as Jesus did. You're just quoting scriptures driving in all directions proving nothing. Even the angels that went to Sodom men saw them and wanted to sleep with them, what does that tell you? They were in the flesh.
Brg, no one can insult you on this... you put all the clips together. You weren't biased, its left for each person to make their deductions. Wise one
Forget it brother George, I doubt Adeboye ever heard about Abel Damina. You need to study Adeboye well. He is old school, conservative and busy - he has never heard most of the criticisms, you have to be very important for Adeboye to notice you. Even when he eventually hears, he is not petty enough to bother.
Hmmm spoken like a true son, so much wisdom in this comment.

Abel damina is a very clear in all he's teaching bravo my mentor abel damina ❤
Lol
😝😝😝😝😝
Very clear indeed, unlike the master manipulating, tea-drinking, no tithe no heaven pastor.
Thank you George for amplifying this.
Luke 9:54-55 - they asked "Lord, do You want us to call down fire from heaven to consume them, just as Elijah did. But Jesus turned and rebuked them and said you do not know what manner of spirit you are of.
So if Jesus is still God the man and could eat fish and bread after resurrection, and Jesus is God, can Jesus drink tea? i am just asking?
We believe Jesus is God but GOD came in human body so he must eat in as much he's in flesh . Since he has returned back as spirit God no one have ever seen in him again nor eat again. To me since preaching paying tithe to people are not job again. New strategy they are using now for you to believe them and follow them is to tell you now that they see God .. one even said he touched God face.. loo
Body of Christ, body of Christ, Jesus in heaven is shocked 🙂🙂🙂
I think if not internet, some of our ''men'' of God wouldn't have been known.
The only one thing you hear them doing is to look for trending topics and speak, we share, we like and they get known.
Body of Christ, we and buzz, friends🙌🙌
Not only that they do that to trend, get followers , make money online... it's all about mammon
All about indirectly taking people to mammon
Exodus 24:9-11 KJV
[9] Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel: [10] and they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. [11] And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also they saw God, and did eat and drink.
One thing we must all understand, is that God does things mysterious that we may not easily comprehend except with spiritual understanding. I pray that God will open our spiritual understanding. But in all, we should try to know God and the way He operates the better for us all. Thank you all.
When Elijah called God on Mt Carmel to answer by fire, God ate the sacrifice and "drank" the water, Did Elijah see God? But did God not eat the sacrifice?
Stop twisting bible,God send fire to consume the sacrifice, fire consumed the sacrifice not God , Adeboye said God drank the tea ,he did not say God send anything to drink the tea like Elijah did but God drank it himself, that's a lie.God sends me to help a brother, you can't say God came by himself and help the brother
With due respect, did Baba Adeboye preach that you can drink tea with God? Did he make it a doctrinal subject? What exactly is the issue here? Was Bible able to contain the Totality of God?
He had an experience that's not common. Should that be a subject of mockery?
George, be an advocate of this ministers to focus on their understanding of the scriptures and God that they know. Major assignment is to prepare people for Heaven. That hasn't be completed!
Adeboye should keep unverified personal accounts personal. Once he brings those accounts to the public, then they become subject to public scrutiny. We can no longer swallow the meat with the bone, this is 2024
The point here is that Adeboye's so-called experience does not align with the Holy Scriptures. He should eat a humble pie that ( I mean swallow his pride) and move on with his life. Sadly, over the years you guys wallowed his my fairy tales ( including the one where he ( Adeboye) drove with an empty fuel tank from Ore to Lagos.. But now people that people have wised up to his gimmicks and are calling to question his bogus claims he is playing the sympathy/humility (and Special -God's-Son) card. The Scriptures he quoted do not support his bogus claims. When Jesus ate BREAD with the disciples HE was seen by the disciples. HE ( JESUS ) did not sneak-in on HIS disciples and steal one fish or two loaves of bread from them. Did Adoboye see the being that drank his cup of tea? My dear friend, Benson, do not be deceived: GOD did drink tea with Adeboye. Period. GOD is a Spirit and therefore HE does need anything from this material world .i.e GOD does not get thirsty. Also GOD is not a thief and will therefore not sneak in on Adeboye to steal a cup of tea from him. Please endeavor to study your Bible.
"Major assignment is to prepare people for heaven." This is why such stories shouldn't be told in public. If ordinary people begin to tell you personal stories with God you will marvel.
Pastor Abel is being smart by half. The experience of Elijah on mount Carmel, who took the sacrifice? Secondly, if Jesus the man is in heaven, does that mean Jesus is in the flesh in heaven? When someone is looking for fault in every message, he will also be shooting himself in the leg. The experience with Abraham, bible said the angels that came spoke on behalf of God, ‘shall I do this thing and not tell my servant Abraham, seeing that he will command his children and children’s children in the ways of the Lord.’? What is Pastor Abel saying? Those angels spoke on the behalf of God!!!!! If God sent angles to take the tea, can’t HE also take responsibility for it? Some people just want to be controversial for nothing.
My people perish because they lack knowledge... Not every experience with God must be scriptural, the scripture is meant to guide and build us in our walk with Christ and God but he said to the disciples greater things ye shall do... So how is his personal experience not scriptural... Like BRG rightfully said he never said he saw God but he had an encounter.
U don't interpret the things of the spirit with a canal mindset, it shocks me seeing a man of God criticize another one works with God. Well this are the end times do not be deceived by canal minds seek God and His wisdom, let Him grant us spirit of discernment with grace to follow the right path less we fall by way side.
I’m grateful that God is revealing things in the scriptures for Abel Damina.
Dr Abel Damina speaks as though he is the one who tells God what God should do or not do. God does whatever he likes and he is unquestionable.
If truly we believe that "nothing is impossible with God" then drinking tea should not be a big deal for God. Hallelujah
Glory, glory, glory. The Lord be blessed!
Wow! He's addressing a fellow "pastor " as the short man from Uyo. Was that a Sunday preaching? Wow!!
Yeah, I totally disagree with that comment, but the words Pastor Abel has used for other ministers might have warranted this. Like I said, it doesn't make it right
@nyerhofrancis you're just being sentimental. Apostle Paul called Galatians church oh fools.
My prayer is that children of God will use wisdom to analyze whatever they hears. You are doing a great job only that people needs to be wise in God because wisdom is the principal thing in all thy getting, get understanding.

Then Cain damina is behaving like garage boys x2
I had an encounter with God when I was younger, probably in my secondary school days. It was a dream actually and I felt so much brightness coming into my room. I was afraid cos I don't really understand what it was. But when the thing came in fully, I dare not look up because the brightness was like a moon, immediately I fell on the ground saying God have mercy on me. There was a voice that I heard just like the roar of the deep sea saying, " Mercy upon you", but couldn't comprehend other things from it. What I will say is that many of us have had encountered with God but in different ways, but the truth of it is that, some might hear words from him, some may dream of him, some may have feeling that God spoke to him, but in actual fact, no one has seen God.
I listened to your programs now and again and do appreciate your work. I refrain most times to comment for personal reasons but allow me to comment on Pastor Adeboye’s Statement. I don’t see why this statement should be a problem if Abel understands scripture. In Genesis we see Christ, who is the God-Man sat down and ate physical food with Abraham, Also in Exodus or numbers, (I don’t have time to search the exact passage), we see Christ, again, who is God eating with Moses, Aaron and the Elders, even in Hebrews, scripture says we entertain Angels as strangers, what about Jesus after His resurrection, didn’t he ate bread and fish with His disciples? Where in the scripture does it say these have ceased? Or Is his God so limited, or probably he is doesn’t have a full grasp of the Trinity Doctrine, except he is a Unitarian. The God-Man Christ can come and visit anyone He chooses, eat and drink with them and that is scripturally sound. Thanks
Brethren.. Christ never appeared in the old..they were angels
This the best explanation so far. I have been listening to Damina he is more of a Unitarian or modalist
So when Jesus ate with people, did the food just mysteriously disappear? Stop lying to justify yet another lie because there is nowhere in the scriptures where food magically disappeared because Jesus or God the Father had eaten it in their invisible form.
All these analysis of yours pointed to angels and Jesus in human form , I write to ask you is there any of this old patriarch whom after eating imagined what Happened to there food ?
Or do God do what he forbid ?
Pls read again... Christ told you none have seen God....the old testament is a mystery...you need the new to interpret
Hallelujah. Truth will always prevail, no matter what? Kudos BRG ❤
I don't support Abel damina for calling out Daddy Adeboye but what his Suleiman issue with damina?calling Abel damina a failure is very wrong, its not by have large followers, Abel damina is way ahead of Suleiman when it comes to the understanding of the scripture, he has impacted many lives with his teachings
I doubt the world "ahead" in your comment sha. We can list 10 Abel Damina teachings that are extremely erroneous and that clearly contradicts the teachings of the Bible but many don't call him out, maybe because he is wearing suit and not longsleeves like TB Joshua and Odumeje. Pastors in suit speaking big English can still be wrong on top their Greek and respectfully speaking some things Dr Abel say can make you wonder what Bible he is reading.
@@nyerhofrancis of course I don't agree with some of his teachings but at the same time no pastor can always be right all the time about the scripture, Abel damina has his own flaws just like everybody else

@Kowewilliams Abel Damina is indeed a failure, he doesn't know the very basic principle that he should give honour to who honour is due.

This blogger has obviously not experienced God or seen the raw power of God in action. If you have had some experiences, you would obviously say it's a lie. I do not really fault Abel Damela because he is genuinely speaking because he hasn't had usual experiences or relationships with God. This blogger also is nothing but a content creator who hasn't had an intimate relationship with God. If you hear from God regularly, you would be surprised by some of the things you'll hear God saying
This blogger is the reason you are a foolish Galatian in 2024. You ended you blabbering and saying nothing. You crossed by this page and think you think you know a thing. What a stupid generation we are in.

Have you not read Gen 18,were God and angel meet with Abraham.

Thanks, for the information, it's now left for me to know the pastor who's teaching is correct. God bless you
Pastor Adeboye is just trying to make himself of no reputation so that he reflects as a humble man unwilling to hit back at his critics. While that is good, I see that he subtly tried to sound as though his critics (Dr. Damina) have academic knowledge of God but do not know him. That is not true. That he is the GO of Africa's largest Pentecostal church does not mean he knows God more intimately than others (which sounded like he was boasting). He (Adeboye) is born again, Damina is born again and I and other Christians too are born again. God is our father and we all have different levels of relationship with him. God will not hurt or kill anyone including Damina just because he disagreed with him on doctrine. Apostle Paul openly confronted Peter, the Chief of the Apostles and God did not kill him. Peter was humble enough to take his correction. The contention here is about bible doctrine and we should not use sentiments to to address it. Adeboye was clearly wrong in his assertion that God drank his tea. The reference he made about Jesus eating food in John 21 is totally misaligned. Jesus was physically with his disciples and they watched him eat the food they made. Abraham saw the angels physically eat the food he gave them. Adeboye should simply take his correction and make sure to get his claims scripturally right next time before sharing them publicly.
You have made it so plain and simple for anyone to understand.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
👏👏👏
Thank God for Dr Damian's message. But if we listen very well to his message, it contradict what Pastor Adeboye said. He said he heard the voice of God saying to him you invited me when you prayed. God operate the way that's beyond human understanding. Remember he didn't say God drink the tea. In the old testament, they made sacrifice to God with animals. Does it means God eat flesh. What God said to Pastor Adeboye is an indication of God presence with him.
I actually respect Dr Abel Damina's indepth knowledge and understanding of the Bible but the only thing is that he will have enemies. I love his teachings
Honestly speaking, i have never been one to comment on anything religious or when it has to do with men of God. But the way this our Christianity is going eeh. One day we will wake up and hear that all the old testament miracles were a lie.
I mean there were mind blowing miracles that God did. Miracle that it will take trust and faith in God to believe. In the new testament Apostolic era. Same thing. I mean two men disapeared from the prison with the chains and padlocks on the gate still intacked and then reappeared somewhere else. If it were this present days someone days God made him disapear and reapear. Someone else will take up the case and say. God doesnt make people disapear. Everyone has their own experiences with God. All depends on the level of growth, relationship and intimacy with him. He reveals himself to different people in different ways. So if u dont have the experience of someone else with his God. Its best we keep our mouth shut. The gospel is not meant to be a debate or attack on any man. If you say God call you. Mind your gospel, follow your vision, and preach your assignment. If u dont have any. Close church.
John the baptist had one assignment. He fudilled it. After which he began another assignment God no give am. It cost him his head. No joke with God.

Weather you like it or leave it, Dr. Damina is an eyes opener 😢. You have a choice.
George God will bless you for exposing the truth. Heaven will reward you.
You are doing your part to remove the blindfold in Nigerian Christians. Nigerian Christians wake up
They have been so brainwashed by their papas and mamas, instead of focus to be on Christ, the focus is on their papas
I just so much admire this Baba's humility in spite of so much wisdom. Make Damina dey play. Is daddy freeze still ranting, or is he forever frozen? May God have mercy on us all.
Genesis 18 makes it clear that among the 3 men who visited Abraham one of them was God himself. Verse one says "and the LORD visited Abraham". Reading through Genesis 18 carefully you will see that God was one of the 3 men who visited Abrahama and he ate and drank what Abraham served them. Anywhere you see LORD with capital letters in the bible that stands for God himself while Lord represents Jesus.
And the argument here is not whether God must show himself to someone in a particularr form . As long as he has showed himself to Abraham or visited Abraham (wheether in the form of man, angel, animal, etc) you will not deny that Abraham saw God and even gave him food and drinks. There is no formular on how God must "look like to anyone but once he comes to you individually and reveal himself to you that he is the one , you can't say you haven't seen him.
Also , Dr. D is also arguing a lie. Pastor Adeboye never said God even came and sat with him to drink tea like he saw God physically. Dr. D is always just out to criticise and seek attention without even understanding or even listening carefully to what he wants to counter.
For someone like Dr. D. If I share with him my testimony ofcourse he will say I am lying. I am not a pastor but I am proud to be a Christain who seek to know God deeper and better and that doesn't mean I don't go to church nor have pastors in my life. I do and God has been showing me his signs and wonders that when I share them people marvel . I dont just share with words, the evidences speak even louder.
Also, there are ways a man of God will speak that will even give you the mind to want to listen but Dr. D. just speaks to argue. I once watched a video he was comdemning the popular Statement "what God can not do does not exist" and to my greatest surprise he was quoting it wrongly, he said "what God does not do does not exist". These two statements are saying two different things. To see him arguing what he can't even quote rightly was not only embarrasing but as well disapointing. It indicates that he is not out to even work for God but rather trying to force himself to be relevant by criticising other pastors as well as to chase cloud if I could say. Because I don't understand how someone will be speaking so much english but does not understand english and is ready to speak and roar and even his body language when speakimg is as if he is a child or he is addressing new born babies. Why should he be fighting himself anytine he is speaking? Like someone who is always on the look out to disagree or fight. He is too old and mature to be speaking to the public and wagging his body like a kid . It's okay to have another opinion on a subject matter but still present your view reponsibly but Dr. D. is just a mess on that.
You also said Suleman callled him a shortt man. Yes he is just as arrogant as the Dr. D. I have watched his video where he addressed other pastors as illitrates even in the video where he was condemining the statement "what God can not do does not exist" even when he qouted it wrongly , he termed Pastor Jerry an illitrate in the video and funny that the way him the Pastor D. Also speaks and wag his body is like an ilitrate as well. A well groomed man will not give an opinion in the way he gives his. Very arogant , lousy , abusive , insultive, uncultured etc.
