By holding power steering will lead to Sharing of Political power from Male dominated society. Everybody should come forward to send their female family members to public service, not only govt. jobs but also for self employment like auto and taxi drivers etc.

Don't know how objective this move would be but looks like being done to improve the image which got tarred due to the cases involving the molestation and other crimes happening on frequent basis with the passengers!! Also fair pricing and better allocation of cabs based on traffic in specific areas with high density is also needed!!

That is absolute nonsense that men dislike women who drive. This is nothing but women's imagination. It is Infact the women who don't want to drive taxis. Why? Because that work involves lot of hardwork and sometimes danger. Women don't want to do dirty stuff that involves danger. They like office work or work where they can do work without any fear of danger in a controlled luxurious environment or something that is easy to do. There are millions of women working (unwillingly) in agriculture but have you heard any men saying that men dislike women working in a field??? I guess not.
