Toyota Alphard. In Indonesia, Alphard is the Van for rich People. But there's also Alphard Taxi in Indonesia.

Yet working 20 hours per shift is INSANE. I dunno if I could work that many hours without a break.

It's interesting that in Japan, parking tickets mean an equivalent to the receipt of penalty points on a licence. That's weird because although I've only gotten a parking ticket once (parking for a few hours after midnight local time, on a street in the west end of Ontario, Canada's capital Toronto), that parking ticket was levied by the relevant municipal parking authority and DIDN'T come with penalty points.

Toronto is a car focused city hence parking is essential and parking tickets cannot be the reason od demerit points or else no one would be able to afford insurance.

@@iammeliaskhan I can't think of a Canadian province or territory that slaps penalty points for parking violations. Yet so many cities in that country are designed more for private motor vehicles (PMVs) than for walking, cycling or taking public transport. The London, Ontario-born Amsterdam-based Not Just Bikes TH-cam man, via his:
      - December 2022 video "Why Amsterdam is Removing 10,000 Parking Spaces," claimed that the Government of Japan had required anyone resident there to have to prove a prospective buyer of a PMV had already had an off-street parking space for said vehicle
      - October 2022 video "How Toronto Got Addicted to Cars," claimed that years of right-wing provincial premiers and municipal councillors, when combined with a right-wing mayor (the late Rob Ford, a brother of Ontario Premier Ford), had contributed to a proliferation of PMVs on that city's streets

Showing her gross income before tax with cost of living is a bit misleading. Taxes and social insurance take a substantial amount from that gross amount.

Mid-July 2016 featured a New York Times' article (titled "Taking Aim at Fatigue, Taxi Commission Limits Drivers to 12-Hour Days") about a bylaw then recently passed by the NYC Taxi and Limo Commission that would, effective that November North American Eastern Time, limit to 12 the # of hours in a day and 72 in a week drivers of taxis and private-hire vehicles could work if the vehicles they were to be driving had been registered with said Commission. Working 20 hours per day is risky and DANGEROUS.

Hi Tamaki. How are you? What are the foreigners like in your taxi. Are they loud mouthed and rude? Do they talk as if you were an alien in your own country?
