Vietnamese Sweet and Sour Soup
It is one of my favourite soup. It has a combination of Sour, Sweet and Lightly Salty. It can be served with rice or you can have it by itself. This soup has a lot of good vegetables, the best way to have your vegetables consumption 😁 try it and you might like it 💕
✔️ Ingredients and Recipe
▪️ Chicken Thighs - 3x
▪️ Salt - 1 tsp
▪️ Sugar - 1tsp
✨For the meat you can choose to put all chicken if you like just chicken in it.
▪️ Shrimps - 200g ( can put more )
▪️ Fish Balls - 1 Package
▪️ Hairy Squash - 1/2 (300g )
▪️ Tomatoes - 2x ( small or 1 large )
▪️ Pineapple - 1/4 of whole pineapple ( 200g )
▪️ Asian Vegetables ( Elephant Ear ) - 4x
▪️ Bean Spouts - 100g
▪️ Water - 2.5L
▪️ Salt - 1&1/2 tsp
▪️ Sugar - 3 Tbsp
▪️ Chicken Powder - 1 Tsp
▪️ Fish Sauce- 2 Tbsp
▪️ Tamarind Powder - 1 Tbsp
✔️ Topping
▪️ Asian Herbs Sawtooth - 4x
▪️ Asian Herbs Rice Paddy - dry one or fresh one ( if fresh put it last bit dry follow the method like shown in the video )
▪️ Green Onion - 2x
▪️ Garlic - 6-7cloves ( Fried like in Video )
✨ give it a taste when soup is fully cooked if you like the taste you can leave but if you like a richer sour and sweet, add 1/2 Tbsp of sugar and 1/2 tsp of tamarind powder
