This was actually a deviation from the game. In the game, the challenge was to figure out his name, so when Kam just introduced himself here, it surprised a lot of OG Critters.
@@HunterW2021 This season has A LOT more deviations than season 1 ever did. If season 1 was 95% the same, I would say season 2 is more in the 85-90% range (no idea if those numbers are accurate…just what I came up with now). Frankly, I haven’t minded the changes at all. There’s one coming up (for you) that was kind of disappointing for me but even then I can *understand* it.
In game, Scanlan did have healing because Bards can heal, at least to a degree. Clerics, Paladins, Druids, Bards, and, I believe Rangers all have access to, at least, some healing magic. We did see a glimpse of that back in season 1 when Scanlan helped heal Keyleth.

Oh okay okay I totally overlooked that then I was sort of in panic mode for pike here haha will be catching up within the next week!
